My husband and I have been married 7 years. Known each other for 23 years. We decided to try about 3 years ago after having a miscarriage. I had surgery to remove some areas of endometriosis and pre cancerous cells on my cervix. They did the d/c at that time and some tissue around my follicles. The dr said we should be good to go at that time. About 6 months later after some difficult timew with family we decided to move and build a house ourselves. It took us a year and 8 months to build. We moved in last march. We decided in May of 2007 after I started having migraines really bad due to the birthcontrol, to go off of it and hopefully be able to conceive no problem. Thats what we thought. In August of 2007 I had my yearly exam and my physician decided we had been trying long enough and sent us to a specialist. Boy do they run the tests. I was diagnosed with PCOS and put on Metformin for the first month to get me regulated. My DH's semen analysis came back normal but on the lower end according to the doc. I was then on Femara for 2 cycles and my follicle just didnt get large enough. I am now on my 2nd round of Clomid with Ovidrel shots and hopefully it won't be long. The first round with clomid my lining was too thin. This time they gave me estrogen tablets to use vaginally for the first half of cycle. Now we wait.

I so hope it happens soon. The next step is IUI and I really didn't want to have to do that.

I enjoy reading the posts and visiting others on this site. I gives me hope and I don't have to be down and depressed all alone.
