My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for 18months now, and no luck. I went off of the pill in May ’06 after being on it for 6yrs and got REALLY excited because I wasn’t getting my period, then all of a sudden 2-3 months later, here it comes.
After 6months of trying and no periods I suspected that something might be wrong and went to see a specialist (even though my obgyn told me to wait at least 1yr because it was prob just the b/c.) WRONG!
My new doc did some blood tests and found out that one of my levels were backwards, and that’s what was causing me to not ovulate and skip periods. So he put me on Clomid and I’ve just finished my 2nd round. Everything seems to have worked well except…
My ins hasn’t been covering the infertility treatments, and my dr office didn’t know that until now (9months later!) and I’ve got a bill that’s UNBELIEVEABLE. So, they’ve kicked me to the curb, and I’m on my own. I have 1 REFILL of clomid left, and I PRAY that if it doesn’t work this time :( , that it will next month!
I was REALLY down and upset until I found this site. It’s really encouraging, and gives a scene of hope. With all of you ladies that understand what I’m going through it helps A LOT! Lets continue to be there for one another, and support each other.
