well quite unlike everyone here i m not yet ttc...i just turned 21. i've been with my boyfriend for 5 yrs, he is 8 months older than me. we love each other very much and we both want to be young parents. we hope to get married in a few yrs and start a family of our own.

i came across fertility ties while browsing for conceiving issues. why would a young unmarried girl be worried about such? well you see about six months ago i met up with my gyn regarding my irregular periods. i had been quite irregular for the last 2 yrs. my periods would come after 2 to 2.5 months late every time. my gyn said that maybe i just have long cycles or i lack vitamins or sth. but i didn't want to believe that. if i have a problem i want to know it soon. so my gyn told me to get an USG and get my thyroids tested. my tsh level was high and i found out that i have a septic cyst of 4.3 cm in my left ovary. i was so devastated. all my life i wanted to have a baby and that cyst was going to be an obstacle.

my gyn prescribed a medicine to regulate my periods. i had it for 21 days for three months. my cycle became of 28 days which is shorter than my normal cycle of 30 to 34 days. then my doc told me to stop taking the pills and get another USG.

the USG results showed no cyst!!!

my periods are regular now without any medication. my tsh levels are also fine.

i believe that there is no one as beautiful as an expecting mother...i hope to reach that level of beauty some day(soon!)...

so for now i am just praying that we won't have to ttc for long till we get the gud news.
