first three days i felt like my body was on fire now i think my body is adjusting. hoping i only need one cycle on clomid. what happened with you did you test yet? keep me posted my fingers are crossed.

SO I AM 31 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE THREE CHILDREN MY HUSBAND IS 39. SO ABOUT A YEAR AGO WE DECIDED THAT WE DEFINATLY WANTED ANOTHER CHILD SO WE STARTED TO TRY AND WE IMMEDIATLY GOT PREGNANT. AT FIVE WEEKS WE HAD A MISCARRIAGE. I HAD ON IN BETWEEN MY FIRST TWO PREGNANCIES AND WENT ON TO HAVE TWO MORE HEALTHY CHILDREN. SO I JUST FIGURED IT WAS A FLUKE. THEN THIS IS WHERE INFERTILITY SHOWED HER UGLY FACE. STARTED TRYING IMMEDIATLY.....NOTHING PERIOD WAS LIKECLOCK WORK BUT NO BFP THIS WENT ON FOR 7 CYCLES THEN FINALLY AGAIN BFP THIS TIME MY DOC SAID YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT IT IS GONNA BE A GOOD PREGNANCY NEXT DAY MISCARRIAGE EXACTLY AT 6 WEEKS. SO NOW I JUST GOT MY SECOND PERIOD AND I WENT TO THE DOCTOR AND HE SAID I HAVE TO GO ON CLOMID. I WAS RELUCTANT ALL THE MONTHS BEFORE BECAUSE OF THE CHANCE OF TWINS. ANYWAY HE JUST STARTED ME ON 50MG OF CLOMID DAY 3-7 I OVULATE EVERY MONTH ON MY OWN HE IS HOPING IT WILL RAISE ALL MY HORMONES TO SUSTAIN A PREGNANCY. ONCE I AM PREGNAT I WILL HAVE TO TAKE LOVENOX INJECTIONS TO HELP PREVENT A MISCARRIAGE. ( I ALSO FOUND OUT AFTER TESTING THAT I HAVE MTHFR AND PROTHROMOBIN THEY BOTH HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH BLOOD CLOTTING. SO I AM REALLY PRAYING THAT THIS WORKS. GOOD LUCK TO ALL
That must have been horrible! But I can imagine it will all be worth it when you finally get that BFP, I've heard such great success stories with using Clomid. I haven't yet taken that second test, I think part of me is so worried about getting another negative that my heart will break. Our first was an accident, in fact I was even on birth control. I hadn't the slightest idea trying to conceive would be difficult. I can;t imagine how hard it must be for those who try for years and years without success. How old are your three children?
That what my husband and I had wanted. The first to be really close in age. We've got a lot of really great things going on right now and we feel we're ready, at least we think we have the energy right, ha. Sounds like you have a busy busy household. But I do understand the drive to have another. I tested this morning at day 40 and got a BFN. I just don't understand whats going on. I have noticed an increase in CM but nothing more than that. Just a skipped period this month? I've never experienced that in my entire life. The earliest appointment I could make with my OB was the 20th of August due to a busy work schedule. AHHH, I feel completely frustrated not knowing anything about my body.
could it be that you are ovulating now? that is weird. i read your story good luck with the new buisness. I am in the same field I am an ABA therapist. I provide Special education servcies to children under three with pdd. Why dont you purchase answer ovulation sticks there is 20 to a pack and see what is going on maybe you didnt ovulate when you though you did it is also possible that you ovulated twice maybe once from each ovary. If you get your peiod the other thing that is highly recommended is clearblue easy fertility monitor. because it tells you the exact peak day no guessing
Funny you mentioned the clear blue fertility monitor, I'm trying to get one on ebay right now. They certainly are pricey but seem that all the guess work is out the window, which would be great! My husband works a night shift so timing bding is hard at times. It would be better if I could let him know when and where. So how does clomid help? I've heard a little about it but not enough to know much. Pretty hopeful about this month I bet...

well clomid is supposed to make you ovulate i already ovulate like clock work. but my doctor seems to think it will make a better egg. and will keep my hormones where they are supposed to be if you start getting these cycles where you are going 40 days with out getting a period you should talk to your doctor about it. i would first try the fertilty monitor and give this a try. you are young and have a lot on your side i would give it to your sons first birthday.
Ha, a better egg! Its amazing what all these medications can do. I hope for you the best, seems like with that extra boost you'll do great. I assume this will be your guys last little one. It will be awesome to watch your oldest interact with the baby to be someday. He'll be a great help no doubt. I'll have to check in with my gyno next time I go. This is definitely the first time I'll be going talking about fertility. My little man was a big big surprise. I can moan and groan but I know my trials aren't easily compared with others. I have it pretty great I know. I guess why I get frustrated is, when I got pregnant with Eric he was a product of 3 days of skipped birth control and now here I am trying and it doesn't seem to be easy. This month I'm going to chart a lot and talk to my gyno and see where we're at.
today has been a hard day and ia m not sure why i am on day 9 and had my last dose of clomid on day 7. just feel really emotional like i can cry at the drop of a dime. I really want this to work this month I put everything into this. I just feel like this is a full time job between the supplements, baby aspirin, clomid and then starting the progesterone on day 21 i am just freaked out. i have an appointment on monday for a follicle check what if i already ovulated then how will they no if i made follicles. if it is true and you ovulate five days after last pill that would leave me at friday the 18 and my appointment isnt till the 21st but the doc said he checks day 14,15,and 16
Breathe breathe breathe.... I have no doubt you have a lot on your plate including all that crap in your body. Its okay to get a little emotional. This is a big deal and most likely your last little one. But think about why your doing this... think about the next one to make his/her entrance in the world. Your doing this for a good reason!!!

Yea maybe you'll ovulate on both sides...can we say twins? lol, j/k...u never know! I never felt ovulation pains..b4...what does it feel like? I havn't had cervical ovulation mucus..in 4ever...last time I remeber was b4 my daughter was born (guess that explains why I don't alwayz ovulate). Oh & I took clomid b4 w/other meds in conjuction...etc...for 5 cycles...& had 2 pregnacies from it..all singleton...but of course they resulted in m/c( :-( )...well I wish u luck!

Busy but good. I was looking through old photos and videos last night and just broke down crying looking at a video of my son when he was 4 weeks old. He grows up far too fast, it only made the desire to have another stronger. I've been spending some time reading up a lot and been vigilant about taking my bbt accurately this month. Plan to use my remaining 17 opks over the next two months. If I don't get pregnant at least I'll understand my cycles better. It just seems pretty erratic so it'll be harder to understand but I'll get there.
i know how you feel time really does fly. i sometimes sit and think how did i get here. where did all the time go. I hope that i am soon lookingat time fly and saying i cant believe i am pregnant it took me so muchtime to get pregnant. anyway definatly use your left over OPK and definatly try tracking your cervicalk mucus. also bbt is good in determining if you already ovulated although not good fro telling you when your supposed to ovulate
chyrstal is this your first round on clomid maybe you can answer a question what happens if you already ovulated then thye wont be able to see any follicles? and if you didnt ovulate but follicles are good then what can you get a shot of hcg. when i left my doc office the other day when i started clomid he said to me come in on day 14-16 for a follicle check you'll prbably already be pregnant but it will be to soon to see. so if i already ovulated then what is he looking for he wont see follicles so how will he know if it worked

I am on Femara which is an alternative to clomid but it is supposed to produce the same results!! I am on day 2 of OPK and still no + but monday i guess they are going to tell me about the follicles i am not to sure. What CD are you on right now? My doc said that i should only do the OPK for 7 days not any longer i don't get that either but i can't wait to see what our dr's tell us on monday. It sounds like you and i are in exacatly the same boat. Please let me know how things go for you i am going to be busy Bding this weekend hoping that works this go round. Take care have a nice weekend talk to you on monday.

It's good that you are trying everyday! My husband and i have been trying since friday but still no +OPK. I know how you feel but we have to keep at it to increase our chances!! My dr. told me to BD every other day starting yesterday but we started early and changed plans to trying everyday. I feel like i am getting desperate here but you never know until you try i guess. Does clomid change your lh surge? I am so nervous for my u/s tomorrow and my husband can't make the appt so for the 1st time i'm going alone. Let me know how your surges go!! Best of luck to you i am really hoping you get your surge soon.

I GOT A SURGE TODAY AND I AM HAVING O PAINS THAT KEEP COMING AND GOING NOT SURE WHAT IS GOING ON. WE BD EVERY DAY BUT SKIPPED YESTERDAY (SAT) WILL BD TODAY AGIAN I HOPE I CATCH IT THERE WAS ONLY A 48 HOUR LAPSE. FELL ASLEEP LAST NIGHT PLUS YESTERDAY I HAD NO SIGNS OF OVULATION SO I THOUGH IT WOULD BE BETTER TO LET MY HUSBANDS SPERM BUILD UP. TODAY I HAD SOME CLEAR STRETCH MUCUS IT WAS A LOT LESS THEN WHAT I USUALLY GET BUT I AM HAPPY I HAVE SOMETHING SINCE I THOUGH IT WOULD DRYME UP FROM THE CLOMID
I am so excited for you Peanut2323 i hope this is it for you!! I think even missing one day of BDing that your chances are still excellent. By the way i was wondering about O pains what do they feel like? I can't tell if they are cramps or O pains or a stomach ache. Do you feel a difference that is very noticeable?
I am charting, I'm trying to be really hopeful this month. I feel a little down only because I feel I have no understanding of my cycles. I used to be so regular before the baby and now I haven't the slightest idea of what my body is doing but I'm keeping everything in perspective and my husband and I going on 5 months ttc, others have endured much much worse.... so I suppose we'll see what happens this month.
good news i went for my follicle check and it was perfect three perfect follicles my doc said that i am ovulating right now so go home and get busy.whoohoooo i am so excited i feel like i have a good shot at one because i have the three eggs that were produced. god i so hope this is it kepp fingers crossed yea!!!!!!
I am so happy that you had 3 good follicles and are ovulating this is going to be it for you i have my fingers crossed! I went to the RE today too but he said that i only had 2 follicles one was 11 and the other was 13 so he said we are praying for the follicle that measured 13 to continue to grow because that is the only one that will have a chance to produce a mature egg. I have another appt with him on friday to check again no +opk yet so i am really stressed now. This will be the longest week ever for me. Good Luck again keep BDing and keep me up to date.
i had a really bad night i was in so much pain from ovulating. if i didnt know better i would think that my appendix was bursting i was crawled up in a little ball. i had to call the doctor who siad it shouldnt last then more then a couple of hours he said that I was ovulating very hard today i am very soar from everything that happened yesterday 1dpo yea
7/23/08 38dpo u/s showed embryo measured 7w 3d and heart beat detected 162 BPM! Beta not known yet...lab results not in yet.. How are you peanut? The blood thinners make me tired..& when I had my blod drawn...I bleed a lot..so the blood thinners are definatly working. Hope to hear back from you soon and I hope you get a BFP soon!
Hi peanut looks like we o'ed at the same time this was my first month of clomid and wow i wasn't expecting for my body to act all crazy but today i noticed some cramping and i was having some hot flashes today i really didnt know why i was cramping until i realized what day in my cycle i was soo i hope you get your bfp
