I can completely relate. My partner has similar issues with sperm count. It is a difficult thing to go through. We are looking forward to our first time with IVF next month. If anyone has any helpful tips or questions we should ask the doctor...please forward them to me. It is great to hear about other people's experiences.

1st IVF attempt and looking for a partner to share my journey

I'm 34 and dear partner is 35, been trying to conceive for nearly 2 years. Had all the relevant test done and every thing is ok on my side.Dear partner has low sperm count. My RE prescribed me clomid 50mg on 09/07/07 and managed to conceive on the first attempt but had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks on 02/09/07. had a Erpc/ D and C to remove it, worst day of my life and would never wish it on any one.Was told by my Dr.to start trying after 3 months, had my first period on 09/11/07 which was such a relief as am just recovering from a slight depression, could not understand why something i so badly wanted and eventually got was taken away from me. Will be starting my first cycle of ivf on 31/12/07 and hopefully this time it will stick. ******BABYDUST****** to all you lovely ladies

Welcome! I'm in your exact situation... I would be happy to help you in anyway I can..My hubby has several issues w/his "Guys". We started IVF in Jan. 07' Got pregnant 1st try & then miscarried @ 7 weeks & had to have a D & C. I too was SO depressed we took 6 months off. Our second try didn't work. We find out Tuesday if I'm pregnant from our 3rd try! I'm sending you ***BABY**DUST** & **STICKY**GLUE**. This site has wonderful, supportive people on here.
