About me!
January 08, 2008
I am 26 years old and moved to Oklahoma in 2006 from Nebraska. My now husband and I met in Nebraska at military training so I moved down to Oklahoma a short while later. We were married on July 4th, 2007 and found out I was pregnant. I ended up having a miscarriage and had to have a D&C. It was horrible! I felt like something had been stolen from me. I guess it just wasn't the right time for us to have a baby. We just recently decided to start TTC and are really hoping it happens soon!! I am new to this site but it seems like everyone on here is so helpful and caring. Hope to hear from you guys soon!! Good luck to all of you in your journey! I'll be praying for you!
aww, nicole you are in the right place - this web site is great, we all know how you feel and Dr Q is so very helpul and kind to all of us when we ask him questions! Im sorry for you loss - i too, lost a baby in 2007. I got pregnant in july and lost it in august, very early on. I felt and still feel so very sad about the loss. My due date was my 1st anniversary so that will be a happy and sad day for us.
Good luck with you TTC journey, for some it is quicker than others. I hope that is the case for you!

I too have had a couple of miscarriages and I know how it feels! I am now 10 weeks pregnant and can't wait to bring this little one into the world! Best of luck to you and BABYDUST!!!
Hey Nicole!
Sorry to hear that your journey with conceiving didn't turn out well, but I hope there are tons of babies in your future. This site is very amazing. I don't think there is anything that someone on this site hasn't went through in terms of fertility and conceiving. Good luck with you journey to have a child! Can't wait to hear how it goes. Sending you lots of baby dust!!!

Good Morning ladies... Thanks Nicole, I hope we all get lucky and our dream comes true. Well today is my Dr. appt. I am going in to see how many follicles I have and to get the go ahead to go my trigger shot. If all is good they will have me come in on Saturday the 26th for my 2nd IUI. This time with injections. I sure hope this works. My bestfriend is the one that referred me to this RE here in Dallas. She studied at Harvard. Anyways I'm only 27 but she is 40. She was on the same meds they put me on this time. The Gonal F and Clomid, with a trigger. She had her 2nd IUI a few weeks ago. Well her blood test was yesterday and she got her BFP!!! Her beta at 14dpo was 238. She is scared it's twins LOL... But just a little success to share with you. I know I love reading everyone's success stories. But anyways I hope I have lots of follicles today! My fingers are crossed!!!!
Hey girl... I was pretty excited upon leaving the Dr. yesterday. I have 5 follicles, 4 on my left ovary and 1 on my right. I only had 2 on my left last cycle. I'm not ready for a Saturday IUI though. The follicles were all 14mm or above, they have to be 18mm-22mm to trigger and do the IUI. So I go back for another sono on Saturday, then should be ready for my IUI Monday morning. Oh and then the dreaded 2WW. So how are you doing...? I read above that you will find out within the next week or so if you have conceived. That's great. Are you excited?
Oh my fingers are crossed for you!!!! My blood test should be on the 11th so I'll find out shortly after you do... I sure hope it works out for us both! My husbands B-Day is the 10th of Feb so I hope to maybe test that day and be able to surprise him. If not Valentine's Day is right there too! This is so exciting LOL
Gosh I've been back and forth to the Dr. for sonograms all weekend. It's been crazy. First on Saturday I go in to see if my follicles are the right size and get the go ahead to trigger. Well long story short they were not ready but instead of having 4 on my left side, I have 6 on my left side. One still on my right. I left after the nurse said to continue taking medication and come back monday. Well after getting home the Dr. called and left a message saying to lower my dose and only take one more of the meds as I have too many follicles that are too close in size. I guess she was afraid it was REALLY going to increase my chance of having mulitiples. And they wanted to see me Sunday morning as well at 9:30 in the morning. So I go in yesterday and have several that will be of size by tomorrow's IUI. So they told me to trigger lastnight and I go in for my IUI tomorrow morning. It's very exciting but also kind of scary because of of my Dr.'s concern for mulitiples. We are fine with twins but any more than that scares the crap out of me...
I agree with you 100%, twins even scare me a little but I think it would be such a blessing. But more than that just totally scares the crap out of me... It's rare though, triplets are pretty rare and of course more than that is even more rare. But twins we have a great chance for... Congrats, 9dpo is great. I wished I was there with ya. After tomorrow I'll be starting my dreaded 2ww and you'll be finishing yours. I hope AF doesn't come and you get your BFP. That would be great!! How are you feeling? Do you have any kind of noticable signs of pregnancy or do you feel like you may start? I know it's hard to tell the symptoms between the two apart. But my sister is prego with #4 and she knew the moment she was pregnant with all of them. I guess some of us gets tell/tell symptoms and some of us don't. I could've swore I was pregnant last month with my symptoms and turned out not to be of course so this time I'm just going to let it ride and not put to much thought into it... Talk about the longest two weeks in your life. At least it seems that way :)
I don't know how she knew but she did. Here I was soooo sure and of course AF came. AF came last month on 10dpo and I was just devastated. This this round I started injectables and have a lot of hope. I sure hope you get your BFP, are you going to test like at 14dpo, or sooner? (Providing AF doesn't come)
Well its been about 16 months and I am still trying! We are about to get started visiting dr's but the process takes so long with military dr's around here! Hopefully I will be able to convince the dr's that we have been trying for a long time and get them to use more aggresive ways of trying! How about you?
