Pregnant after first IUI

Me and DH are both 24. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. Summer of 2007 I stopped taking B/C and nothing happened for a year. Cycle stopped coming about November of 2007. Went to FCI (Fertility Centers of Illinois) after a co-worker got pregnant from them. Our first appointment was the end of May 2008. One cycle with just Provera to start, and then one cycle of Provera, Clomid, and an IUI.
7.28.2008 - First IUI
8.11.2008 - Positive Blood Test
8.21.2008 - First U/S (4 weeks since IUI)
8.28.2008 - Go in for 2nd U/S to hopefully see HB
I am glad to have found a place online to get insight on our situation, and am hoping to pass the time until we see our little Cupcakes heartbeat!

Thanks for all the congrats and good wishes. We are very excited, but trying to stay not too excited since we are also in awe that it only took the one IUI. We just hope things keep progressing. Good luck to all of you as well.

No, I don't mind. By the time we actually did the trigger shot, and the IUI, I have 2 mature follicles. One was a little smaller than the other, so it may have never released. I can't remember what DH's sperm count was after the wash. I know motility was 98% after the wash. I was too worried about the IUI when the nurse told us his count that day, so I never wrote it down. I will ask when I go back this week.
We had our second u/s yesterday. Got to see the heartbeat and we are super excited. The technician and nurses have us dated at 6 weeks 3 days now. I think this is a bit far (since we know that ovulation and IUI was about 2 weeks after that), so who knows. I thought we were about 4 weeks. Whatever the date is, we are happy about the heartbeat. We go back to the fertility center once more next week. They do an OB Exit consult with the doctor and one more u/s. Then it is off to the regular OB.
Just thought I would send a little update. As of right now (until further notice or changes), our little "cupcakes" due date is April 19, 2009.
