Hello I am 26 years old and was recently diagnosed with PCOS and was referred to a infertility speacialist in my area. We started my first round of 100mg of clomid on cd 6-10 and 1500mg of metformin after my natural Af started in Dec. 12, 2007. Cd 21 my progesterone was low indicitive that I hadn't ovulated on the clomid my first round which sucks. So now it's cd 32 and no Af yet I will call the doctor in a few days after I take a test (which will most likely be a BFN but they will ask if I took one). Next round is going to be 150mg of Clomid on cd 3-7 and 1500mg of Metformin. Just hoping to actually ovulate this go round. I am a well newborn nurse at a large hospital that does over 8,000 births a year and after seeing all these people that can get pregnant it always depressing especially after seeing the cost of infertility. Wishing and hoping to have a bundle of joy of my own soon. Thanks for any and all baby dust!!! ***Lots of baby dust to all***

Recently I went to see and RE also for the first time, and as long as my tubes are open, she said there is a much greater chance of getting pregnant from injectabl meds. So if this doesnt work for you, though I KNOW it is very hard to deal with- there are other possibilities. I am a kindergarten teacher, so not only do I work with a bunch of fertile young women, I teach little kids all day- and I know the thoughts are hard to escape someday. Just day dream and envision yourself as a mother, and stay positive-
I hope this gives you hope that clomid is not your only option. Hang in there!!
