The journey thus far:

November 01, 2008

I recently came to discover that my university health insurance covers more than they would necessarily like the students to believe.

I've been seeing the RE at the school health center, had hormone tests done, along with std tests, and my first annual pap and breast exam. We discussed the possibility of PCOS, but think it isn't likely, but still possible.

All my hormones are normal, and no std's(Which I knew already but still) But bottom line, I'm still not ovulating. Neither the RE nor the actual doctor know why since everything is allegedly 'normal'

I just started Provera to induce my period three days ago to then do the "clomid challenge" test. I'm to start 100mg of clomid on day 3 of my cycle whenever that manages to happen. Since I've started taking the provera (3 days ago) I've noticed a surge of cm. Anybody else ever have that happen?

Dr. says that yes you can bleed without ovulating. Since after a point the lining of the uterus simply becomes too much and too heavy and your uterus can't hold it any longer. I had suspected that since having the same blood in there for a long time would be very unhealthy.

So Kronda and I need to talk to our donor about giving this cycle everything we've got since I've done everything that my insurance will cover after this.

Please please please let me ovulate on the 100mg and get pregnant this time.
