Jags's Journey

Hi Ladies.
I'm 29, and my husband (of 4.5 years) and I just started actively TTC #1 this month. I have been ready to ttc for about three years now but we, of course, wanted to wait until we were both prepared (read: longest 3 years ever). I wanted to know what I was doing as soon as DH got the baby bug too. I started charting about two months ago to become more aware of my cycle, so it feels like we've been ttc for at least a little while already.
I have a 31-34 day cycle that is fairly regular, but I didn't know exactly when I ovulated. I used the CBEFM this month and was disappointed to see, wait for it... 12 days of High fertility. I thought the monitor was going to take several cycles to adjust to me, when I peaked on CD 21. (And confirmed with OPK- yes, neurotic.) My temp started to rise, I had ov pains last night and my CM was in sync with all the rest.
Not sure about what to expect now in the 2WW, and I don't want to get my hopes up too much. I'd glad to have found this site though- to add to the ways I can overanalyze my body signs and to meet others who are waiting for their BFPs with as much excitement as I am.
Good luck everyone.

Just got back from a three week trip to Europe and had an ultrasound the very next morning! So glad to see everything is going well. I got tears in my eyes watching the screen. The tech gave me a CD with the pictures on it and it even included a few very short video clips (heart beating, jaw moving). So very wonderful. Heart beat was 162 and the babe measured up as expected (today: 13w4d). Everything is looking good so far. I'll get my new ultrasound pic up soon.
