I am 29 years old and my Husband is 31. We live in RI and after 9 years of being together we are trying to make our baby dream come true! However after 9 months of trying..it's a lot more stress and anticipation than one can imagine! We did finally get a bfp on aug 19 only to find out after a few blood tests to detect and monitor the hcg levels..we were told we would m/c within 2 days of finding out! Still hoping and praying it was a one time incident..we are finally awaiting again some news if we are pregnant!
On Monday we reached our 7 week mark and had our first ultrasound. The baby measured exactly at 7 weeks and the heartbeat was 131bpm! We are very relieved, and happy things are going well. Our next appt. is on Nov.25th for a consultation with a nurse to go over medical history...etc. Then on November 28th we have an appt. in which we will meet our new doctor for the first time. She will do a physical and monitor the heartbeat with a machine.
