UPDATE! Well its 6 wks later and fully recovered and considering IVF. In the past I thought IVF was too expensive but I just found out I can participate in a study in exchange for IVF at an affordable price, YAAAAAY. One little problem tho, I have to be smoke free for 30 days and by then they may not have an opening, boooooooo. Im going to my PCP tomorrow for a script to help me quit and then beg my RE to put me back in the study so I dont loose my spot, god i hope this works out.

I am 31 and just had surgery, a cystectomy, myomectomy,tubalplasty and lydisis of adheasions and scar tissue removed. My right tube was hydrosalpinx and closed at the end with scar tissue. My left tube has a blockage which was all revealed in my HSG results. Having susrgery removed a large ovaian cyst 2 fibroids and opened my right tube, and the blockage is still in the left tube. So I have one working tube that puts me at risk for an EP. I'm hoping for a miracle. I dont want to give up just yet on natural conception. I still want to try to have the left tube unblocked because I think there is less damage to that tube (no hydrosalpinx on that side). Does anyone think it is worth a shot or any hope with my tubes?
Hey Girl, What going on? Called u last nite, Step-son said I just missed u. How is everything? today is 12dpo but Im too scary to test..... I'm trying to stay positive and if it's BFN ,thats okay cuz Im gona do IUI, but Im still gonna be so sad if I get BFN, which I think I will. Im going to bed, Im making myself crazy!!! Hey Doll, good luck to you. I hope you get a BFP whichever way it comes! I've had an ectopic pregnancy resulting in the loss of my right tube, but i was able to get pregnant w/ just my one tube. I hope b/c the hsg showed your tube is clear, you'll be able to do it the "old fashioned" way if that is what you want, but more importantly, that you have a baby any which way you can!
