Cynthia's journey
March 27, 2008
I am 29 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS in July of 2004. I have an almost 2 1/2 year old son who was conceived through clomid, hCg shots, and IUI. It only took 3 months to get pregnant with my son. The third time really was the charm in that case. We started the process again back in August. It took 5 rounds this time and I am now 14 weeks 3 days. I never used a site like this the first time because it was too hard to read all the stories. I don't know if motherhood has made me stronger but this time I have found that talking about it and asking all my questions has really helped. The women on this site are amazing!! I wish I could "chat" more on this site but I have to get on at work and well I have to get my work done too. I just want to say to everyone who reads this I am so incredibly grateful to all of you and the support you have given and continue to give. I really appreciate all the responses I have received and I hope that I have helped someone else in return. I wish all the baby dust in the world to everyone on this site. The only advice I can give to dealing with the rollercoaster is that God has a plan for all of us and he knows what is best for us even if we can't see things how He does. That is the biggest lesson I have learned from this journey in my life. The best things in life are worth fighting for. Please be encouraged by my journey. I know I have been encouraged by all of you.
