hi all my name is christian im new to this site and so far it has helped me alot. I am 22 years old and have been married to the love of my life for 2 years we have been desperatly trying to conceive our first for 1.5 years ive had all the tests that can be done (i think) nothing wrong except low progesterone "so ive been told" lil history i only have 1 or 2 periods a year and dont ovulate on my own i am now on clomid 150mg + metformin 1000mg after failure to ovulate on 50mg and 100mg. i would be happy to hear from anyone who has experienced any of this i dont really know what to expect my whole family is as fertile as can be....i dont know what happened to me...
hi, christian myb name is brenda welcome to fertilityties this site is really helpful and also they understand your problem cause ass you can see most of the people here have similar problems well im 20 years old soon to be 21 next month and i had an ectopic pregnancy when i was 17 so i got married when i was 18 and at the age of 18 i started to gettting ready to get pregnant but no luck so ass you can see is been a while that i been trying to have a baby is hard for me cause i dont have my right tube cause of the ectopic pregnancy and i dont ovulate on my own and also i dont get periods im really irregular plus my hubby has super low sperm count.... but im still hanging here and stuff cause i know one day is going to be my turn so hang in there and dont lose hope that when you least expected your going to have your little angel with you.....
Hi and welcome, well I did 3 cycles of clomid and ovulated first cycle then the next 2 were a flop. Now I am on clomid this month again and used Ovidrel injection as well and I ovulated. So maybe you need an extra kick start. We have been TTC for 2 years after an etopic and a miscarriage. There is hope for all of us, and we are all here to help as much as we can. BABY DUST!!!!
Hey Christian. I'm 25 yrs old, and my hubby and i have been married 5 yrs. We have an almost-4 yr old daughter, Savannah, which we conceived with no problem in about 3 months. HOWEVER, we've been trying for #2 for 17 months now. We finally got pregnant after 9 mths, but lost it pretty early. After my miscarriage, my cycles were off really bad, being 24 days some months, then 35 days...etc.
Anyway, it got really old. So i went back to my doc, who knew i'd been trying for a while. He said, well let's check your progesterone. Well, it was INCREDIBLY low, as in 2.6, so they put me on CLomid a few months ago. My family, too, is as fertile as can be, and with such an easy 1st pregnancy, i'll never know why this is happening now.
So we're in the same boat, girl. I wish you the best in the coming months. I'm hoping this was the month for us, and i hope it is for you too!!

THANKS GIRLS FOR ALL YOUR KIND WORDS I POSTED THIS POST BACK IN DECEMBER SINCE THEN I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HYPOGONADATROPIC HYPOGONADISM I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY PITUITARY GLAND AND IT DONT PRODUCE FOLLICLE STIMULATING HORMONE SO I AM OFF TO THE RE: NEXT FRIDAY AND WILL START INJECTIONS SO KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS HOPEFULLY THE INJECTIONS WILL DO THE TRICK. I WILL KEEP ALL OF YOU IN MY PRAYERS I KNOW HOW DEVISTATING IT CAN BE TO SEE A NEGATIVE EVERY MONTH LOTS OF BABY DUST***
