I was married last year on November 18, 2006. My husband and I really wanted to have a baby right away, so after a couple of months on a regular visit in February, I mentioned to my doctor that I wanted to have a baby and had not had any luck yet. Next thing I know I'm diagnosed with PCOS (which was weird because I have always had a normal regualar period and I barely meet any of the other symptoms.) He started me on Metformin to get my body to start ovulating. To my surprise, I got pregnant in April. I was so happy, I was calling our baby a "MIRACLE." Everything seemed to be going great, the only real complaint during the pregnancy was nausea. I was 19 weeks, one week from finding out the sex of the baby when something happened. I am a teacher so I had been off work the whole summer. I was back at work for 2 weeks setting up my classroom, and 2 days into the new school year. I had been having cramps that day and really didn't think nothing of it because I knew I was going to see my doctor that same day. At the appointment I was so scared of the cramps which were few and far between. My doctor did a pelvic exam and said that nothing seemed wrong, I wasn't leaking any fluid, and that it was probably just the stress of the new school year and getting back to work that was causing the cramping. The next moring I called my boss to take the day off, feelng that I should rest, however with one cough that morning my water broke. Next thing I know I'm in the hospital, facing the loss of my baby. 12 days later I delivered my baby, but at 21 weeks it was too young to survive. It's been really hard, but husband and I are getting through. We've actually decided to try again. So hello to all of you and *********babydust********* to all.
