Hello!

February 29, 2008

Hi all-

I am a Wisconsin girl, happily married for almost 9 years and we have two happy healthy daughters, almost 5 and 3.

Our dreams of completing our family of 5 were shattered last August 8th when I began spotting at 10w5d pregnant. An ultrasound showed a 8w6d baby with no heartbeat. I ended up in the ER later that night with an emergency D&C due to the tiny placenta holding on causing excessive bleeding.

Since then my body has been a mess and we haven't been able to conceive. (my due date would have been today)

Awww I'm so terribly sorry for your loss, I know how difficult it can be as I've had two losses myself. I hope you were able to find something positive for today to help you through it.

Welcome to the group, we all are here to support you while ttc :)

Oh and have you looked in to seeing an RE? It may be a good thing to do and have some tests done or at least get ya some help becoming regular again and ovulating.

I've been working with my family dr.

I sent her another email today because of the spotting returning, and I am not getting the answers I want. My DH wants me to move onto a new Dr.

I don't know what to do.

I'd look into seeing an RE, they specialize in fertility issues and know way more than your regular family dr or gyno. Dr. Q on here is an RE and so you can see how knowledgeable they are and how helpful and invested they are in helping you achieve a healthy pregnancy.

Wow, I just can't believe how helpful everyone is here.

I think my next step is an OB/GYN, since I am seeing a family doc.

I live in a small town and there is only one OB/GYN and he is a visting Dr. from a hospital an hour away.

My DH wants me to push on, so we'll see what happens to me this weekend, and possibly make some plans or appts next week.

Thanks for your help!
