Can progesterone gel cause a yeast infection?

I have been taking these gel things for 5 days now and I think, pretty sure that I have a yeast infection.

Now, these are in pre packaged things that you squeeze into you so I know that no dirt has gotten in there.

Also, I had yeast infections while preggo so wondering if high prog levels or prog and HCG levels can cause a yeast infection or is it just bad luck.

I am only 5 days past the IUI and still have the trigger in my body so thats where the HCG would come from.

Also, can I use a vaginal insert for the injection in the 2WW?

Dr. Q or Ladies...Question about Yeast and Thrush

Just wondering if having a yeast infection, will definetly spread to the baby and cause thrush in the baby's mouth? I currently have a YI and I don't want to give it to him (if I haven't already) and I read somewhere that it can spread to him through breastfeeding. Just wondering if any of you have any experience with this or if Dr. Q can tell me if this is true or false?

Just wondering- could this really happen????

Hi Dr(s)!

One of my friends recently lost their baby/pregnancy at 22 weeks :(

The pregnancy was fine from the beginning- strong heartbeat, normal growth, etc. They went in and found out the sex at 19 weeks(boy). At that appointment every thing still looked great. My friend Jamie found out at 22 weeks that the baby had died. Her midwife told her that it was because she had developed a yeast infection and the infection punctured/weakend the placenta. I have never heard about this before! I've read that MANY women get yeast infections while they are pregnant- and they have normal pregnancies. I am not sure if Jamie's midwife is accurate or not.

What Can I Do: Possible Yeast Infection During 2WW

I am in my 2ww on my 2nd round of Clomid and really hoping that we caught the egg this time. We used PreSeed since my CM all but dried up, but it seems to have given me a yeast infection. I've been in denial since Monday, but I can no longer pretend that I don't itch and burn. Is there anything I can do to alleviate the symptoms until this clears up? I'm taking acidopholis and eating yogurt like they're going to stop making it. Thank you in advance.

Discolored Cervical mucus

Hi, I am wodering if it is normal to have yellowy cervical mucus? I am not usually in short supply of it either (sorry TMI). Accompanied with irregular cycles that are long, heavy, painful and last 30 - 45 days.

I am also concerned because I get the occasional sore (3-4 in 3yrs marriage) on the entrance of my vagina. They are kind of like a cold sore, but can be pussy as well(sorry, TMI again!). They are very painful. My husband and I waited for marriage and neither of us has ever been with anyone else. So I don't think it could be an STD.

Thank you so much for all of your help!!

Red Spotty Blood on TP? Implantation or Sign of Yeast Infection?

Okay.. Yeah it ME again.. (So sorry guys)

Last Night before bed, I was checking my CM (again) because I was afraid I was getting a YI. I wiped my fingers off with TP (Sorry TMI) and I noticed "blood". I (because I am me) instantly freaked out and tried this again.. I had red spotty blood and a red/brown discharge on the TP.

I have absoulutely no CM (dry as a bone) and I am feeling a little "raw" in that area. So I guess my question is.. could that be implantation? I know that blood is not really symptom that anyone likes to use for implantation but if I had a YI could it have lasted a couple of days and then have irritated my "area" enough to cause blood? My doctor is booked today or I'd be in there seeing about it. I'm not itching and there is not longer a discharge but the discharge I did have WAS really think and "sort of" looked like (TMI) cottage cheese.

After beating my head and recalculating everything I now know that my previous period started on May 9th, My Period this month started June 6th.. so I'm pretty sure I was on a 28 day cycle.. so I've determined that it is VERY likely that I am 6DPO rather than the 4 that I thought.

Could a EWCM show up after ovulation? It was only a little bit and I only saw it the first of the day.. the rest of the day it was creamy CM.

Any suggestions.. ( I hope I'm not driving you guys as crazy as I'm driving myself)

Blood still here this morning.

Possible Yeast Infection?

I'v started having what I thought was a creamy CM but now I think it could possibly be a YI. I've never had a YI so this is strange to me? What should I do? Can I buy an over the counter medication? I'm afraid to do anything because I'm TTC and I'm afraid that it will mess things up.

Also, I've read that this could indicate a possible pregnancy? Although I'm not sure how.

Effect of UTI and Clomid on determining ovulation

OK, I have a bunch of things going on this month and I am unsure how any of them might interfere with my ability to pinpoint ovulation.

1 - I have a UTI and can't seem to hold it for the 4 hours recommended in my OPK test kit. Should I disregard my OPK results while this condition exists?

2 - I am in my 2nd cycle of taking Clomid (50 mg tablets on CDs 5-9). I'm on CD 10 this month and have so far not gotten a + OPK. Last month, however, I got a + OPK on CD 10 but (based on when I got AF, CM patterns, and BBT) did not otherwise seem to ovulate until CD 15. Is it possible, however, unusual, for Clomid to affect an OPK result? Does it appear that this is something I should be worried about this month?

Any and all advce/feedback is appreciated.

Monistat 1 day/night

Ok, I had a yeast infection and used the Monistat 1 day-Day/night ovule. Then, when I went to the bathroom and wiped, there was pinkish blood. Does this sometimes happen from the medication?

Yeast Infection

Hi, I just discovered what I believe to be a yeast infection. I have never had one before. My husband and I have been trying to conceive and I am worried that I could be pregnant (because of some other symptoms). How do I treat a Yeast Infection if I am pregnant? Could this be an indication of pregnancy since I have never had one before?
