Blocked tube

I just had an HSG. Both myself and the Dr was almost 100% sure that my tubes were not blocked because I have only tried to get pregnant twice and succeeded both time but saddly ended in M/C. One of my tube was open no problem, but the other was blocked. The dr. seemed confused by this. He even said that maybe its spazeming or something but he tried several times and the dye would not go through.

He is not sure what it is. What could be blocking my tube?? He said maybe a polyup (sp?). It was blocked before entering the Tube at all.

Can a blocked tube cause a m/c?? I am just so confused. Please help????

I have another appt on Dec 12th for an u/s but I might be on my AF at that time and then it would have to be postponed (according to RE). I am just so sad and confused. What do they do about a blocked tube??

I know the dr. wants to try to figure out what is blocking it first.

How long after ectopic until hcg drops to 0?

Ok so this is kind of complicated, but 11/5/08 I went to the local ER for pain that ended up being an ectopic pregnancy. The twist is the U/S supposedly showed twins! 1 in my uterus & 1 in my right fallopian tube,Hcg level was high 5k/almost 6k at 5weeks 3days. I was taken by ambulance to a bigger hospital 1hr away.

There the Dr looked at the same U/S pictures after I insisted I wanted an alternative surgery to save the baby in my uterus. The Dr then claimed the other hospital/Dr was wrong and only 1 baby was in my right tube. So I 11/6/08 I had surgery to remove ectopic, but I still feel preg(tender breasts)and no bleeding except a few drops of pink right after surgery. Is it possible the Dr lied so I would have surgery?!I still have paperwork for lab hcg test to take at the local hospital when I can. I'm terrified that the Dr lied! So my question is with levels that high how long would it take hcg to go down to zero?! Also weren't my hcg levels high for a singleton in my tube only?!Was the 1st hospital telling the truth about twins?! Maybe I'm being paranoid, but why would I be told two different stories?! Please answer Dr or ladies, but I prefer the Dr on here to answer with opinions and advice! I keep having dreams I'm preg still too! I just can't stop wondering if it's still possible there's still a baby in my uterus like the orginal hospital told me. I feel so crazy for asking this, but it's really bothering me. When I finally get my beta hcg done again, I'll probably feel stupid, but what if it's true?

natural remedy to unblock fallopian tub

Hi, Doctor,

Do you have any comments on using 7 step programme to unblock fallopian tube, I am 36, and have low AMH level, one of my tube is blocked, had surgery to open the tube but it seems to have blocked again, any recommendation, Can surgery be done again or should remove the tube and IVF the only option?

Thanks

Regards

Shazz

scar tissue

I had an ectopic and after the lap surgery to remove my tube, the pics show that i have some scar tissue in the pelvic area. The other tube seems fine though doctors say. Also the hsg shows my tube is open. Does this mean that my ectopic was caused by scar tissue INSIDE the tube? Also does this mean i have scar tissue IN my remaining tube? Im so scared of another one.

TTC with one tube (A few questions)

Hello i have one tube. Lost one due to ectopic pregnancy last year. Have been ttc for 1 year now and nothing. HSG showed my one tube is open. Doctors say my one tube looks healthy. What can be the reason why its not happening?

I already did clomid for 3 months and didnt work besides it was very painful during ovulation. What can i do next? IVF is too expensive. :( Any insight PLEASE. Also am i suppose to seek help after two years of trying since that should equal to one year of trying because i only have one tube?

Blocked tube

I recently had an HSG test done and was told by my REF that my right tube looks blocked. She said not to worry about it and that she will start me on Clomid and Metmorfin and we would go from there. I'm a little worried because I've been reading about girls with blocked tubes and they all usually get surgery for it. Could I still get pregnant even though I have one blocked tube with out any treatment? I heard somewhere that you ovulate one month from the right and the other from the left, if this is true is there a way of knowing which side? Has anyone had a similar experience?

What would be the fertility treatment for a person with one tube?

Iam 26. And my periods are pretty regular. Between 25 and 29 days. TTC for a year. Husband's semen analysis came out great. All my hormone levels are good too. But my HSG shows only one tube open and the other is closed at distal end. Iam visiting a RE this month. Iam confused about what my treatment would be ? Would I be be prescribed Clomid ? with IUI ? My OB/GYN is like, we have to try longer. But I don't see it working. . I need help. Would clomid work with one tube ? What could have caused one of my tubes to be closed ?

hydrosalpinx

DR.Q

If i have hydrosalpinx on my right fallopian tube ( dilated fallopian tube ) and my OB preformed an HSG and said i still have great spillage on both sides of my fallopian tubes. He doesn't think that can keep me from getting pregnant. so is it possible to still get pregnant with this?

My OB said my dilated tube is a distal dilatation. only on my right fallopian tube and it is still open.
