How soon can we start TTC again after miscarriage?

So my doctor says to wait 3 months before ttc again, and that until then we should use protection.

The INTERNET has all kinds of opinions, ranging from try right away, to waiting 6 months.

I saw a post on here where Dr. Q implied that it really doesn't make a difference....

So which is it? How long should we wait before trying again (chances are, given my history, that even if we start BDing today we still probably won't be pregnant for a year...lol)

How long to wait to TTC after 3rd consecutive miscarriage

I had my 3rd miscarriage om march 19. Today my AF came. I wonder if I can start on clomid again from cycle day 3-7(this is how I had it last time and I got pg and miscarried) or wait for the next AF to come and then start. My RE told me to call him when my period comes so he can give me clomid again but I don't know what is better for me. My mom tells me to wait so my uterus to heal better, I don't want to wait, I'm 37 and the time is precious for me. Please give me an advise!
