I had my tubes cut and tied almost 16 years ago. Is there any chance I can still get pregnant? I last had my period on my b-day Oct 6th, I have been eating alot and tender breast.

I am a healthy 25 year old woman who has been pregnant 4 times i have 3 live children a single birth and a set of twins i got my tubes tied after the twins and now want to have another child my insurance does not pay for this is there any way to incress the chance of getting pregnant without having the tubal reversed?

Can a women who has had her tubes tied be a surrogate mother if they were to use someone elses egg?

Me and my best friend were talking about this because of my chance of not conceiving and since she plans on having her tubes tied after she has her baby, we didnt know if it would still be possible for her to be a surrogate for me.

Dr. Q,

Can you tell me if it is normal to have a golf ball size ball next to my belly button after having my tubes tied? My belly button has been oozing for two weeks now since having the procedure and I am now on a stronger antibiotic but my regular doctor thinks I may have an absess and may need to have it drained. I am thinking it may just be inflamed tissue from the tubal. Have you ever seen inflamed tissue the size of a golf ball after a woman has a tubal? Or could it be a hernia? It is tender when I push on it but by no means does it hurt. I know you can't diagnose over the net, I was just wonderfing if it is inflamed tissue how long does that take to heal? Any answer is appreciated! Thanks :o)

Hi Dr Q i had a steril 9 yrs ago oh at least i think so there are no more records. I missed my peroid in oct only to get them 25 nov but have since mid oct had sore and heavy breasts. My stomach is growing big and hard except when i ly down. I have done a hpt in mid nov but it said neg. About 3-4 days ago i had a pain in my left ovary that felt as if it was going into my thigh and kidney. What i want to know is could i be preg and if not what can i do to get preg . I live in south africa and ivf here are extremely expense which not many can afford. And med aid does not cover things like this please help

Ok, Here it goes, 10years ago, I had a tubal done, and now I want to get pregant. I was told that my tubal was cut,clip, and burn. I was not able to have babies anymore. I wanted to know if it was possible if they could be reversed,or try a different method of conceiving a child?
