Is spotting 5 days after AF normal?

I started my cycle on the 27 of Feb and stopped flowing on the 2nd of March. Im still spotting 5 days after AF stopped. I started spotting 8 days before AF started. Is this something to be concerned with? Could this cause problems ttc?

For the past two months I've started spotting 10 days before my period. Blood is normally brown, but on occasion it is bright red. Is this normal or something I should see my Dr. about? I have no pain with it, although we are trying to get pregnant.

I think I might have had late implantation because of some late bfps after some spotting/bleeding on & off this cycle, and just wondered what was the norm for late implantation? Like what is the range? How many pregnant women have this happen? Thanks, I'm just scared this bean won't stick.

my period is like clock work, however last month i had light spotting for a few days then my period started. this month i started spotting almost on the exact day i was suppose to start my period, i am going back on the pill and am suppose to take it on day one of my period. so i took it when i started spotting. it's been 6 days now and my "real" period hasn't started but i'm still taking the pill, could i be pregnant? i took a hpt and it came up negative, any thoughts? i'm on ortho tri low, if that helps at all.

idk whats goin on w/ me. im 1 DPO and very light brown/pink spotting when I just went to the bathroom. After BD with DH. Only on the toilet paper though... I'm very confused. If I start bleeding idk what I'll think. This is crazy. Who spots the day after a + opk?

I've read almost all the posts in the internet.But i did not find any exact answers! I've been spotting on and off for 2 weeks..since i was 4weeks2days.I've taken two progesterone inj. in these two weeks and the spotting stops for 3-4 days after the inj. but comes back again.I'm also taking regular oral prog. pills with folic acid.I've seen my Dr.,heard the heartbeat at 5 weeks 6 days.I did not get any specific explanation from my Dr apart from the fact that it might be threatened abortion!!

Just why am i spotting on and off for two weeks if i'm really going to miscarry??

Three days after the prog inj. i had a bit of brown bleeding once yesterday night.But it has stopped now that i'm resting.But when i insert my finger(so sorry TMI) i do get lil bits of light brown discharge.Otherwise no cramps.Have app. 3 days later.And i've informed the nurse to ask my Dr to call me but no calls yet.

Should i wait 3 days or should i rush down to the ER Again right now?

And more importantly does this sound like i'm really going to m/c?

i'm just 6 weeks 3days today!!Any input would really help me at this point of time!!I feel like i'm in hell!

well yesturday i dont know if it was spotting or my period let me know what you think.

when i wiped it was just spots at first very lite pink this morning still very lite but you get alittle more usually when i have my period its usually heavy the first day and darker what does every one think... let me know anyway.. and also if it was spotting how soon after can i test

I've been spotting since Saturday afternoon and I'm really scared. I only see it when I use the bathroom but not every time and it's mainly brownish but sometimes with a light pink tint. I'm waiting for the results from my RE on my 2nd blood test to see if my levels are doubling on schedule. I'm not having any pain or severe cramping at this time. I guess I'm afraid this will be another miscarriage. Anyone have any advice or has this happened to you?

my girlfriend started using birth control in November. She is supposed to get her period next week and her periods last 5 days tops. she started bleeding six days ago. it is very very light bleeding and she is a little worried she might be spotting. how long does spotting typically last? and could the bleeding be caused by something else such as her body getting use to the birth control or her sister also said that her pheromones are very high and that might be causing her to have an early/irregular period.

I've read conflicting opinions on a variety of fertility sites and my doctor's nurse practitioner didn't have time to fully explain. I've been on Provera/Clomid for two cycles now. I think I started on my own this month, but I don't know which day to count as the first day. I've only done some very light brown spotting yesterday and today. Some people say that yesterday is day one. Others say I need to wait for a flow that requires a pad or tampon with red blood. For both months I "spotted," meaning that same light brown discharge, for a week and a half and then suddenly had a full release and heavy flow. How should I time my first day of Clomid?

Hi,

My dr is on christmas break so I can't get an answer... I'm on cd36. My cycles have ranged from 33-37 days. Yesterday I had pink-mostly brown spotting in the morning only and it was minimal and didn't last the rest of the day. Nothing has happened since then in a little over 24 hours and I have no pms symptoms at all. I've just been sick w/ a cold... Do I count yesterday as day 1 and then start my new round of clomid on my usual day 5 (Sunday), or wait until there is full red flow to be day 1? It's so hard during the holidays when offices are closed! My sister thinks I could be pregnant, but not wanting to get my hopes up! Thanks for any guidance!

Does anyone know if you spot for about a week, but it's only that dark brown spotting, can that still be your period?

I'm just wondering cause 6dpo I started spotting that dark brown color and it lasted up until 13dpo and then it just stopped. And now I am 23DPO and nothing has happened. Both HPT and BETA resulted in negatives. SO I'm wondering that maybe that was my period.

Any help is really appreciated.

I have been sick for the past week and a half, throwing up and diarrhea (TMI, sorry) and now today I started spotting brown, mixed with CM, (sorry again). My back was hurting really bad yesterday like it does when I am about to start my period. When I actually did start this cycle, my AF was really weird. It was only 3 days long, and it was very light for 2 days. What could be causing the spotting??

Hello - I have been pregnant once before but unfortunately miscarried. I never spotted or anything in that cycle.

Currently I am 12 DPO, waiting until 14 DPO to take the test.

On 11 DPO, I spotted dark brown. Just only little bit mostly when I wiped but once without wiping. It was dark brown and once had a very light pink tinge with it. No spotting at all afterwards.

My usual LP is 14 days, so I usually get my period on 15 DPO.

My question is - could this be implantation bleeding? Is implantation bleeding accompanied by cramps? I have no cramps.

Also could this possibly indicate other issues I should call the doc for?

Hi I am spotting a tiny bit and Im on cd13. i first noticed it yesterday but didnt think much of it but I noticed it today when I went to the bathroom. Its very minimal (less than when i spot before my period) and it has been super light tan but today there was a dot of light pink. I do have a 1cm fibroid that was discovered before taking clomid (im on my third round) and i have no cramping or feel different. My period was normal. Should I call the doctor or not worry at this point unless it continues or worsens? Im just worried this will interfere with ovulation since it usually happens on cd17/18. Thanks for your advice!

My husband and I actually had an “incident” early in September that got us talking about wanting to have a baby. So I made a doctor’s visit to make sure I’m healthy and can proceed with trying to get pregnant. Well, after some blood work they found high prolactin levels and than an MRI found I have a pituitary microadenoma. I have been taking 2.5 mg of bromocriptine since September 27 2009. Since I started it I’ve been having my period RIGHT on time, which is very not normal for me, but I’m glad for that. What I am concerned with though is that so far the 3 menstrual cycles I’ve had are VERY light and don’t last long. That’s just not normal for me. Being concerned that perhaps I might be pregnant I took 2 home pregnancy tests correctly and they both read negative. I just really feel like something is wrong. I talked to my doctor and she just said that I would be messed up for a while because of the medication. Has anyone noticed a drastic change in her cycle like this? To me it seems I’m just spotting. I’m very concerned. I usually have a lot of cramping and I can feel when I’m ovulating. I don’t feel that anymore. I do feel tired though, and moody, and smells are making me sick…but I can also attribute this to my medication. I’m debating troubling my doctor for a blood pregnancy test, but Id hate to if this is just part of the process of adapting to the medication. So I guess my question is; has anyone has gone through the same thing?
