Hello- 15DPO and on progesterone "Crinone" Suppositories-

I had pink spottting yesterday- and was lightly cramping but in my back- I only saw the spotting 2 times when I wiped-I was sure AF was coming...

Today I was sure I would wake up with AF- but I am seeing brown when I wipe-Its kind clumpy- probably from the Crinone.. Lots of moisture but clear otherwise

I was not on a down regulated cycle- and taking progesterone as a just in case- My CD 21 progesterone value was 29

I have not tested- probably will not do that for about a week after AF- Doctors any experience with this with a positive outcome ?

Hi, my period is due today. I got excited when i woke up and there was no sign of it. now when i wipe. i see a red/brownish blood. I know in the past this is how my period sometimes start - but I'm wishful thinking maybe i can be preg. I haven't taken a test - but wanted to know if anyone ever got a BFP w/ brown discharge. I took 100mg of clomid this cycle. i 4 rounds may/june/july/aug. in Aug had a chem pregnancy so september i took the month off. So sometimes my period starts full force blood, sometimes just brown discharge. Is there any hope?

Hi girls. I tested on Halloween (11 or 12 dpo) and it was positive! I've been having some faint brown spotting of and on every day. Once or twice it's been mixed w/cm. After having 2 miscarriages I'm terrified it's happening again. I know that brown blood is old blood and I should just take it easy and try not to worry unless it becomes full flow, but I can't help it! Has anyone had this and their pregnancy didn't end in miscarriage?

I'm super down right now.

About 45 min ago I went to the bathroom and had brown spotting. That's exactly how my last m/c started. Only difference is I saw a heartbeat at 6wks4days this time and it was 103.

Now I'm a bit crampy. Called the nurse and she is going to have me come in tomorrow morning. She said spotting is normal ( but I'm mildly cramping too!)but I don't think it is. I didn't spot a drop with my son.

I don't know what to think. Has anyone spotted with one pregnancy but not the other?

Hi ladies, does spotting happen before ovulation or after? i had a few streaks of brown / pink blood a few days ago, it was sposed to be around the time i ovulate.

I am about 7 weeks pregnant, and today i noticed brown bleeding with mucusy stff.. i dont know if this is normal if i had intercourse 3 days ago, or it could be a sign of miscarriage.

I'm around 7w 5d's pregnant....u/s and OB appt is scheduled for tomorrow at 9:20........

I've had brown spotting/smears on toilet paper for about 17ish days (only a couple days of nothing, in there) and then this AM I wiped and had noticed something on the tp....and turned the light on and in the brown smears...was a red blod clot....no pain, no cramps, no backache, nothing.........and nothing

but some brown smears since then....

Any idea why this would happen?

I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was some little brown spotting. I'm having some contractions but nothing major. As of 37w5d I was not dialated or effaced. Now I'm a little worried with that brown spotting. Is that normal? Does it mean anything? Should I call my dr?

PREVIOUS: I took clomid on days 3-7 (Day 3 was July 5th) and July 22 and 23 I had some very light spotting and pain on my left side on CD 20 and right side on CD 21. Took a CD 21 progesterone test on July 23 and got a result of 5.4. Since I thought I was ovulating on CD 21 my dr suggested that redo blood work this week. I had blood work done again July 29 (CD 27) and my level was 9.8. Dr. Q confirmed earlier this week that I ovulated based on progesterone levels.

NOW: I think I am 11 DPO today (sunday) and I have had some light brown spotting last night. It was similar to what I experienced when I was ovulating this month. I haven't had any more today so far.

I need the truth. What are the odds that this is AF showing, or that it is implantion. Thank you for your insight.

Does this indicate a problem?

I am on Clomid this cycle (days 3-7) and I am pretty sure ovulation was right around day 14, but now on days 18 and 19 I am have just a tiny bit of brown or pink discharge.

The only thing I can think of to explain it would be implantation bleeding, but that wouldn't happen until more like 7-10dpo, right? And I gather it's something that almost never happens anyway.

So could this indicate an ovarian cyst and do I need to track down my doc?

I ovulated on cycle day 19 and on cycle day 23 (4 days past ovulation) I had some red streaked cervical mucous in the morning and in the evening I had a quarter size spot of blood in my underwear. Since then I have had brown mucousy discharge only when wiping after urinating (for 2 days). Do you know of any reason for this? It seems too early for "implantation spotting" or for my period. Thank you!

Dr. Q,

I'm on cd 67 of my wonderfully long cycle. I know this could just be a slow start to Af, but what are some other causes of brown spotting? I noticed it last night before bed and it's not stopped. It's really light and barely shows on my pantyliner. I have no cramps or other Af symptoms. I did have some sharp pulling sensations around my left ovary yesterday. Could it be a cyst rupturing? Or ovulation? Or implantation? Are there any other options?

hi doctor and ladies,

i just wanted to ask how long could you have your af/spotting?

i began my spotting the beginning of march and had light, dark brown af for a week. the week after i bled really heavy and was red for 1 1/2 weeks. then it came light again, but still dark brown. so i was like okay good i'm ending my af :) but i'm still having that and it's been over a week.

so all in all i been wearing a pad for 3 weeks already. and my average af is only 7 days then i'm completely done.

did this happen to anyone?

what could be the cause?

please give me some answers.. thank you

oh and forgot to ask..

when can i expect to ovulate since i'm still having dark brown coming out??
