Spotting 4 days before Period

Dear Dr.

Is it normal to spot 4 days prior to your period. This has been happening for the past 3 months. I came off my BC about 5 months ago. My doctor did hormone test for LH, FSH, TSH and everything was normal. She did not to Progesterone test because she said this just might be how my cycle is and since the spotting is cyclic, she is not concerned. We are trying to conceive and I am worried that I am wasting time. She said next cycle we can test progesterone. Is it normal to have spotting? Also, should I take B6 Vitamin? I am so nervous, we have been TTC for 3 months and no luck. I am worried about the spotting, but she thinks its ok. Do a lot of people get this? Thanks so much!!

so my period isnt suppose to start until friday lastnight I noticed some light bleeding than it stopped. This morning it was a brownish like "old" blood and now as of 11:00am there is nothing. Could this be the implantaion if I was indeed pregnant or do you think my period is probably just on its way? Sometimes I spot and sometimes I dont.. Normally I break out with a zit or something before my period and nothing yet.... I am hoping for a BFP since last month ended with a chemical pregnancy...

Question about spotting.......DR's or anybody??

My RE is at a loss as to what is causing me to spot (lightly) every month from 9 dpo to 14 dpo (AF usually arrives 14dpo). Every month for the past 10 months, I have spotted 6 days prior to AF showing.

My cycles are normal...28 days, and I ovulate most months on the 13-14 day of my cycle (confirmed by OPK's, and temp).

I am 35 yrs old. We have one living child (thru IVF/ICSI...2005) and an Angel (conceivedspontaneously/'naturally) born still into our arms (20 weeks gestation) just over 18 months ago.

I have a history of endo, pelvic surgery for ruptured cyst, and adhesions as a result of both.

I have had prolactin levels checked (my # was 20-normal), progesterone levels checked at 14dpo (my # was 14.6...non-medicated. 4 months ago I had a lap to help decrease pelvic pain, and remove a chocolate cyst. Pain is gone....but mystery spotting continues. 7 months ago I had an HSG, inside of uterus appears normal...tubes open.

RE is at a loss....or at least that is what she claims. At this point, she has no further answers or suggestions.

What all can cause spotting??? Can it actually be "NORMAL" to spot 6 days prior to AF?

This never happened before our loss, could it have something to do with having a 2nd trimester loss....??

Period June 16th

I had my period June 16th, I've been spotting browinsh/pinkish on and off for the past five days, I went to see my OBGYN today to get a pap smear and i did let him know about the spotting, he did a urine PT that came back negative and he also did a blood PT, (I'm waiting for the results) but isnt it a little early to tell if I'm pregnant or not?

Is it ok to have spotting for two or three days before periods or is there anything to be concerned as we r trying to conceive for 8 months now and i had a DNE IN JULY 2006.
