What is normal sperm count for IUI?

DH had SA months ado and it was normal.

For IUI today, RE said count was 13 million. Is this ok? What is considered "normal" for IUI? I don't know if the 13 mill was before or after washing, I think after.

Does sperm washing help with a morphology issue?

My DH has consistently had 1% morphology over the course of 3 SA. I am curious if we do an IUI will the Sperm washing help at all with a morph issue? DH has great count and good motility.

DH was diagnosed with a varicocele and we will be getting a doppler/ultrasound (not sure) and SCSA and some blood tests for him in the near future.

What is the male involvement for IUI?

An IUI might be the next step for us and I was just wondering what exactly is the male role in this?

I know they do a sperm washing. Does my husband have to go into a clinic to give a sample, or can he do it at home and bring it in?

And is that all he has to do really?
