i have been taking clomid days 5-9 for 4 months i am now on 150mg and have three foliciles sizes 24,26,and28. i was wondering what my chances are of conceiving multiples with such large foliciles.also this is my second pregnancy due to clomid i have one daughter

FOLLICLE SIZES

Hi Dr.,

I went to my RE today for an u/s and he told me that i had 2 folliclesand one measures 11 and the other came in at 13. He also said my lining was 9 1/2 what does all of this mean? He said he hopes that the follicle that measured 13 continues to grow until i ovulate which he predicts will happen on thursday or friday at the latest. I am currently on CD13 and just curious if i have any chance whatsoever to get pregnant this month. Thanks so much.

I am on 2nd round of clomid. Today I had an u/s. It's cd9 for me. I had 3 follicles- 10mm, 13mm and 15mm. I have to go back on cd11, and probably will be given the hcg shot. Do you think the follicles are too small for cd9? I am afraid none of them will be mature by the time I will be given the shot!

Follicle sizes and clomid

Hey I just got back from my u/s on my 2nd cycle of clomid and I had one on my left that was 16mm and two on my right and the leading one on the right was 13mm. I didn't get the measurement of the other one b/c I was disappointed. My first cylcle of clomid and on that u/s I had 4 on the right and the leading one was 19mm and I had one on the left that was 16mm. They weren't that big this time. I took the same amount of clomid and now I have less follicles, I don't think I have much of a chance this cycle, and I usually ovulate cd16 or at least I did the first cycle.

what is the size of the follicle containing egg and which size should not be concidered as ovarian cyst? if follicles are formed does it mean that im ovulating?im married and trying for the baby for last one year and three months but im not pragnant yet what should i do?

Dr. Q,

What is the actual size of what you would call a mature egg & if you have an egg a little smaller than the norm is it possible that you could ovulate this egg??
