Spermatocele

I have had a spermatocele for many years and some doctors say I should remove it and other say I should not unless it hurts or enlarges. It has not gotten any bigger nor hurts. What is your opinion? I also think my testicles are too small. They are about 1.5 inches. Is that too small...? Thanks.

I want to become pregnant but i have irregular periods so it hard for me to know when is the right time. By me being a plus size women does that also play a factor in this? and is there any medicene or procedure that can stop this?

I am of need of help. I am in the process of IUI and have 5 follicles and need to make a choice. I currently have 5 follies measuring 17, 17, 16, 15 and 15. Should I go ahead and have the IUI on Friday or cancel and start over next month.

Follicle Size on Femara

This is my first cycle with Femara & I am just wondering how big my follicles should be on CD10? They are currently measuring 7.5mm on the left with about 4 that look prominent. The right still looks pretty small, which is good because this tube is blocked. I am just wondering if anyone knows if this is appropriate size for day 10? Any input is greatly appreciated!

I am on my last day of Femara today & then I will be doing an US on day 12 to see if I have any follicles maturing. Does anyone know how big the follicle needs to get before they give you the HCG shot? Any info would be great, I just want to know what we are shooting for!

Well i went to see my OB b/c I took my first round of 50mg clomid and he didnt like what he saw- I guess I am not really responding to this dosage- Turns out my right ovary has a dominant follicle but its only at 13mm and he was hoping to see more like 18mm in order to give me the HcG (profasi ? ) injection. My endo lining was at 6mm which he said he didn't really like either. I am going back on Tues to see if that follicle looks any better....

Should I stay on that dosage of clomid again or should I go up to 100mg. ?

I am trying not to get discouraged but would like to hear some GOOD news for once !

what is mature follicle size at ovulation?

I have one and half year married life and try to conceive.Before six month i have done hysteroscopy,in that doctor removed septum from uterous.

Now I am checking for ovulation,periods are regular,but ovulation is not happening.When my follical becomes mature,it does not released and form a cyst(size greater than 27mm to 33mm).Hormons like TSH,FSH,PROLACTINE are normal.Your kind suggestion please.

I am wondering if u can still ovulate and not have mature follicles or not? Also.. Im wondering if I have 2 follicles measuring 13 and 12 and one that meausres 11 will all of them grow to 19-20mm by the time that I trigger? I am doing IUI w/ ovulation induction and doing Gonal F 37.5 but they might be uping the dose today.. not sure yet. I also did Femara on CD3-7. Im am currently on CD9.

I was hoping for more mature follicles then what I have since I had 13 potential follicles to work with but it doesnt look like that is going to happen.

Hi i know i ahve asked lots of questions in the past but i still have so many.

I went to see the specialist about my next treatment, they advised that my follicle are 1.2, 1.1, 1.0 (this is without treatment) and they stated that they think i should have ovulated but i ahve been testing everyday and i am not ovulating, they dont seem to be listening but im not ovulating. why is this? any ideas??

dear doc Q i had earlier discussed my condition with you.i had earlier two pregnancies in 2001 and 2003 which i had termintaed by MTP.in 2007 i was diagnosed with endometriosis and underwent surgery for the same. i consulted my doc and she suggested time was not on my side as i am 33 years old and have slightly high fsh 12.25.she performed iui on me by giving me 100 CC ,loprin from day 2 of my period for 5 days and monitored the follicles in the left ovary there were cysts on day 2 measuring 26 into 30mm,12 into 16mm and 18.8 into 14mm where as right ovary was quiet.on day 8 the size of the follicles was 12.5,12 and 12 in the right ovary and endometrial thickness was 4.9mm hence the doctor gave me progynova 2mg morning evening to increase the endometrial thickness.on day 11 the size was 19,17 and 16 and 6.3mm endometrial thickness.on day 13 size was 21,19 and 18mm and thickness on endometrium was 9mm.on day 13 the doc advised me to have 10000 Iu HCG injection at 10:00pm and callled me for examination on day 14.on day 15 the follicle size was same and she performed IUI on me. and called me the next day again that is on day 16 the size of follicles had incraesed to 25,24and 23mm and they had not burst to release the egg.she gave me a shot of 5000IU hcg the same day.and also told me that i do not have much hope of success and there are only 25% chances of my ever concieving and that too with IVF and she said w should not waste anymore time with IUI and try with IVF kindly advise.in distress awaiting your advice

The last cycle I had 4 mature follies from CLomid ranging from 20mm - 30mm

I surged on my own ( I O on my own as well)

Does this mean I had 4 eggs released?

Follicle Measurements?

I just saw my RE today and here are the results: uterine lining is 10, no eggs on the left side, the right has a few little eggs and one that measures 12x12x10. (What exactly do these measurements mean? And what size does the egg have to be upon ovulation?) I was told to come in this friday to see if the egg increased in size and to bring my ovidrel shot with me just in case. Oh...I forgot...I'm 40, TTC # 2, only right tube open, I'm on Follistim (300) since day 3) and getting ready for 2nd IUI. I'm starting to think that I should have listened to my RE and went IVF from the start. Any opinions or comments would be helpful before going for IUI # 3.

Follicle Size and IUI

Dr....Anyone....Yesterday was cd12 for me on my 4th round of 100mg of clomid. My left tube is blocked but my right is completely open. On cd12 ultrasound I had 2 on my right measuring 20mm and 22mm, and I had 2 on my left measuring 14mm and 15mm. The doc wanted me to do the hsg trigger shot that night and iui on cd14. Should I count the follicles on my left out because that is the side my blocked tube is on and do you think that the 14mm and 15mm will be ovulate with a egg by cd14? What is the size for a mature follicle carrying an egg? My doc also said that he doesn't do injectibles with iui but he will refer my after 6 cycles of clomid and iui, do you think my body will stop responding to the clomid?

I'M on first cycle of Clomid 100mg from cd3 to cd7 and I had my u/s and blood work on cd12 ,had lot of follicals but the bigger was 10mm ,had another u/s and bloodwork on cd15 and surprisingly there is no much growth in follicals again the biggest on both the overies is less then 12mm!!! ,have another u/s scheduled on cd18 which is on Oct 2!!.

Appreciate any inputs on this,I'M new this whole thing ...

Hi all ,

I'M new to this group ,so just thought of introducing myself to you all ...

I'M 34 year old and have been ttc from last 8 months ,have PCOS so initially I had irregular period so my Gynac put me on provera and after that from last three months I'M having regular periods every 29 days.

my RE have done all the blood work ,ultarsound etc and told I have PCOS but nothing to worry!! ,he had put me on Clomid 100mg from cd3 to cd7 and I had my u/s and blood work on cd12 ,had lot of follicals but the bigger was 10mm ,had another u/s and bloodwork on cd15 and surprisingly there is no much growth in follicals again the biggest on both the overies is less then 12mm!!! ,have another u/s scheduled on cd18 which is on cd18!!!.

Not sure what is going on ,is this normal or only I'M not responding to clomid if this is the case what would be the next step also wanted to know is there any healthy diet that needs to be follwed during this treatment.

follicle screen results?

OK, I went in for my follicle screening today at CD15 and there was only one that measured 1 1/2 centimeters, my doc said he likes to see them at 2 at cd15. :( I don't have my left ovary due to pcos and cysts, so I only have a shot at my right ovary working.... are there ANY chances that I could still get preggo this cycle? or what does the results mean?

Q1: If you're allowed to ovulate on your own (no help from a trigger shot), what size will your dominant follicle be at the time of rupture?

Q2: Now, if you take a trigger shot, what is the range that docs are looking for to Rx the trigger shot? I've been 20mm both times, I'm just wondering what the range is?

Q3: I am VERY close to a LH surge as of noon today (see pic below) and I anticipate that before dinner tonight, I'll have a + OPK. Would I be better off

....a)take the trigger shot tonight and do insemination on Friday morning

....b)don't take the shot and do insemination Thursday afternoon (approx 24hrs from first + OPK)

If we do do insemination on Friday morning, should we also BD on Thursday night? I know it's not usually advisable to have such an "fresh" sample, but since we've had motility issues, I just want all the extra insurance I can get!

(I would ask my OB/GYN today about this (follie study in 2 hours), but I'm seeing the nurse practicianer and I don't think she's as versed on these sorta things.

i am 225 follistim,15 lowdosehcg,10 lupron today had an ultrasound i have been on meds for 7 days had 24 follies my nurse says she only counts 12 which are growing and e2level is 688 will the others grow more or there is only 12 the size ranges between 14,13,12,11 and 12 less than 10 pls someone give me ur input....i thought i will aleast have around 17 ..
