Hey ladies! My dr. told me I have a short cervix and sort of explained it...and said I should be fine...however I wanted to see if anyone else has this same thing just so I can get a real person perspective. Any sucess stories would be great encouragement!

Short Fallopian Tubes

Yersterday I got a HSG test done and the doctor told me my fallopian tubes are kinda short. Will that make a different in conceiving? Also, one of my tubes didn't really show up on the test but it showed the dye getting where it was suppose to be. Does that mean anything? I know my husband and I been trying to conceive on our own for 3 years and my husband had kids before so it has to be me being the problem or it's from him being older and a diabetic now.

Short Luteal Phase

I have been ttc for 14 months, i have consistently had a luteal phase of 7-9 days, i always start spotting 7dpo. For the past three months my cycles have regulated at 27/28 days therefore I have generally been ovulating around cd19/20. I have had all blood tests done including cd21 which are apparently fine. I have tried Agnus Castus and B6 which has not worked in lengthening my luteal phase. My GP says that this is normal but in 14 months we have never been pregnant. Is there anything I can ourchase to help my short luteal phase gievn my GP and Ob/Gyn will not recognise that there is a problem

Dr. Q... what do I do now?

I am on CD 34 today (my cycles are usually 15-31 days long, averaging to 25 days).

After 4 negative tests, I went and had a beta yesterday that came back at 2, meaning not pregnant. So, how long do I wait for AF to come and when do I start getting worried?

I've never had to go through this before as my cycles are generally much shorter than this and I've never been this late. Thanks!

11 day Luteal Phase

My DH and I are trying to conceive baby #2. We have been trying for 3 months. We conceived on the first attempt with #1.

I have been using OPK and it seems I have a short lutel phase. I have 24 day cycles and I detect an lh surge around cd 12. I suppose this means I ovulate on cd 13, leaving me an lp of 11 days.

Should I worry? Do I need to see my DR?

The info on the net is a bit confusing. Some sites say that anything above 10 days lp is normal and others say anything below 12 days lp is considered lpd.

Thank you!

Tubal Reversal

I had a tubal reversal in Oct. 2006. I was told each tube was only 1cm in length after surgery, and pregnancy would be very difficultHowever, after 2 months of trying, I was pregnant and in October 2007 had a healthy baby girl. On Sept 2008 I found out I was pregnant again, but at 5 weeks, I have misscarried. I am wondering if it was just luck that I had a healthy baby after the reversal, am I suseptible to misscarriage with such short tubal lengths.

Short AF = thin lining?

Is that necessarily true Dr Q? I was just thinking about it this morning and before I had kids I had the worst, longer, painful periods and after the kids I now have 2-3 day periods and the only day that I actually can wear a tampon is the 1st full flow and the other days are too light to wear one.

Does that mean that I have thin lining? I took baby aspirin last month along with clomid but will be taking 100mg this month and will take the aspirin again.

I always have AF for 5 days. Well I did Clomid last cycle and then AF came on 14dpo for me. It started out as spotting the 1st day then 2nd day bleed and cramps and then the 3rd day spotting. CD4 and 5 nothing. There is no blood at all.

Im wondering if Clomid can do that? Can Clomid give u shorter cycles? My AF is always 5 days long and Im regular. Clomid did make me O later last month but nothing else changed besides the bleeding.

Dr. Q my breast STILL hurt

I was 3 days late for my period and it only lasted 2 days, usually I get it EXACTLY every 24 days and it lasts for 6 days w/some brown spotting on day 8 or 9. My breasts hurt all the time right now and I am more tired than usual. I took an hpt on day 5 of my cycle and it was negative, I had some spotting later on day 5 but only a little and then again about 24 hours later.

Is this all normal? I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 and 1/2 years w/5 failed months of clomid in between and now I'm just trying to take it easy and not stress over it all.

Short umbilical cord

What could be the cause of this? I miscarried at 18 weeks, and asside from chromosomal abnormalities in chromosome 18, the dr mentioned that the baby was very small and has a short umbilical cord. What does this mean, and why would this happen?

Short period?

My period usually last 5 - 6 days. I have heavy bleeding the 1st 2 - 3 days. On the 31st I started my period, but I'm not bleeding as heavy as usual, I'm even thinking it will stop tomorrow. Also the blood isn't as bright. It seems like this will only be a 2 day period. Before I stared my period my hubby and i did "it" again in an attempt to conceive. I heard the sperm can live up to 5 days inside the woman. Could it have been the sperm interupted my cycle somehow?

Short Cycle...confused

I went off the pill in July. Had a two day period (mine are normally 4-5days). At which point I started charting BBT, CM and using OPKs. I confirmed that I ovulated on the CD17 which was 8/2. This should have put my period at 8/16 (two week later). Instead it came today 8/11 five days before it was expected. That gave me a 25 day cycle. I thought your preiod ALWAYS happened 2 weeks after ovulation. Is this incorrect? I have never (even before going on the pill) had a period come so early. Is it likely that my next cycle will be so short? Does this have anything to do with going of the pill recently?

Pregnant or not?

on 6/8/08 i had a funny period started bleeding heavy then went away then started agin, then turned into spotting. My boyfriend came into town on the 21st of june, we have been having unprotected sex everyday twice a day.. then 7/3/08 i have cramps then start bleeding like i was going to have a period which just turned into spotting for the day. so for about 2 days just light spotting not even enough to fill a panty liner. sorry to sound gross but we would even have sex while i was spotting but he would pull out then put it right back in. now im having no appetite, feeling a lil down, slight cramps in my lower abd, and lil back pain.. please help me understand whats going on??

Short Luteal Phase?

We've been trying to conceive #2 for 2.5 years. My cycle is usally 28 days, although this is when I am on clomid or injectable fertility drugs. (I don't ovulate naturally). However it isn't until about day 20 or later that I notice egg white CM and ovulation pains. Is it possible that this is when I am ovulating and can implantation take place if fertilization occurs this late? Thanks

Short Luteal Phase?

I had a miscarriage followed by D&C in Jan. Since then I have had a shorter cycle, but regular. Starting in March I had been having a 26 day cycle. I have notice March, April and May I have started spotting anywhere from 6 dpo-10dpo. Do you stop counting the luteal phase when spotting occurs or when flow starts. March 10 day LP, April 8 day LP and now 5 day Lp. What should I do?
