Sexual side effects from Menopur, Bravelle or others?

Last night dh and I tried to have sex but I was so dry and not producing any lubrication, which of course makes it difficult. Is this a side effect from Menopur, Bravelle, Lupron or any other ivf med that I could be taking? It was so frustrating!

Missing Period and Spotting?!?!

Hi Dr.

I've been on Solia birth control for the past months. This week (starting Monday) I was supposed to get my period, I'm on the sugar pills right now. I got spotting one night while my boyfriend and I were having sex, it didn't last more than that one spot. I took a pregnancy test and it did come out negative (but I also took it late at night and heard that isn't the best way to do it either, so we're planning on taking another one at the end of this week). Last night my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex while I'm on the sugar pills, is that OK? Or is it recommended to use a condom while only taking sugar pills? Also, I got brown spotting this morning. What is physically happening to my body now that I'm supposed to be getting my period and not?

LOW SEX DRIVE

I find that i have a very low sex drive, i don't know if this is normal or what but i find that most times if my DH dont approach me for sex i am not really interested, i do have my moments but why so low i have PCOS so am wondering if that's a factor. I think am sexy and i find DH sexy too but am hardly in the mood, Dh would not mind doing it every day and sometimes i just not in that fame of mind, is there anything i can take to help with this situation?

Thanks for your input

spotting after sex

Hello doctor i could use a little advice. I am on my 4th round of clomid. 2nd round of 150mg. I ovulated perfectly last month and I am feeling very hopeful this time around.

at 4-5dpo my hubby and i had sex and everything was fine. the next morning 5-6dpo after sex i had alot of wet light pink when i wiped. It lasted about an hour and never got red.

can sex bring on implantation bleeding?

I have never spotted ever mid cycle. I do not have any other symptoms not even PMS symptoms.

I just want to know if i have any hope to hold on to..

Thanks in advance

Updating again

I'm 20 weeks this saturday. We're having a high resolution level 2 ultrasound on friday to check the baby's development and determine the sex 100%. DH's radiologist friend did a scan friday before last and said she was 85% sure it's a boy.

I'm still seeing my midwife. I'm looking into getting a doula for the birth since DH is clueless and can't even properly support me during pregnancy let alone labor. I'm crazy and hormonal and am a complete grouch today.

DH was supposed to get a promotion which would change our insurance to one that accepts our midwife and cover alot of the cost but his CEO keeps saying two more weeks and has been saying that since the beginning of July when he was going to leave for another hospital. DH says I should just try and get it approved with our current insurance, which is like talking to a brick wall, and then if our insurance does switch the midwife will handle it. It's stressful and it's stupid and I want it to be march so I can hold my baby and have a new set of stresses and worries.

Spotting in My Luteal phase and during intercourse

HI Dr. A while back I asked why i get this spotting 7DPO every single month. I am also wondering why i bleed during sex at this time as well. WHen I asked my DR, he said, oh probabyl just an inflamed cervix. I had a pap done 2 months ago and all my hormone levels checked and everything was fine. I am still concerned with this spotting. I have been TTC for 8 months now. This month, the spotting started a few days sooner than normal. It was 4 DPO. I am truly wondering if this is what is causing me not to get pregnant? I get so dissapointed once I see the spotting because I know that my Period is coming. Any thoughts? I would just like to make clear that it isnt really spotting...Its is a brown discharge that gradually gets more closer to my full flow.

"Shettles Method"

So if anyone does not know what the Shettles Method is, it is a way to ensure you have the gender you desire when trying to conceive.. To have a girl you should bd 2-3 before ovulation, since the girl sperm (x) is slower swimmers and live longer. So once you ovulate, the boy sperm will have already been there, and died off and the girls are all thats left..

To have a boy, BD on the day of ov. to see that the boys will get there first..

I was going to try this method this time and try for a girl, as I have 2 boys and know I conceive on day of +opk.. But, I believe I ovulated 2 days early (didn't test this time) based on other symptoms, cramping and "egg white" dishcharge, and the day after there was nothing... So I think we bd right on ov. day again which makes me think this baby (11 weeks today) is another boy...

My question is that did anyone out there have a girl and bd on ov day or if u think it was days before ov?? I know there is a 50/50 chance, but my husband has 3 boys and 0 girls.. So I think for some reason it would be harder for us to have a girl.. Does that sound crazy..

really bad pain in pelvic area after sex? 5 weeks pregnant?

me and my husband had sex this after noon at about 2:45 and we were not rough or anything and all of a sudden i started hurting. it was like cramping but so much worse than that. like a constant stabbing pain on my left side like where my ovary is. there has not been any spotting though. well this pain is just now starting to wear off by now and its a little over an hour later. is this normal to experience pains like this in early pregnancy? i am 5 weeks today. i never had anything like this with DD
