How long should the bleeding last?

I had a saline ultra sound on Monday around 3 pm. The dr told me that the bleeding should only last about 24 hours, well it is now 10:00 am on Wednesday and I still have not stopped bleeding. It actually seems be getting heavier! Should I be worried and call my dr or should I wait a little longer?

Getting kind of scared

I go in for another ultrasound today and this time they are filling my uterus up with saline to see if it is cancer or just a polyp in there. I am getting really scared of what they might find and wondering if it is going to hurt! I know that it cant be that painful since all they have to do is use a catheder, slip it inside my uterus and push in the saline but sre there any after effects? What happens to the saline when they are done? I am freaking out a little!

Has anyone else had this done, that can give me some advice?

Saline Ultrasound

Dr. Q,

I went to my RE on Tuesday and he did a saline ultrasound. However it took him 3 tries to get the catheter in. And then when he did, it was like we either heard or I felt a pop. He was concerned at first that I possibly had some type of blockage. But when proceeded to do the ultrasound he didn't see anything wrong. He said everthing looks good, fine and that I have nothing stopping me. Oh and my biggest fear was possibly having PCOS. He confirmed that I don't have that. :)

So my question is... How common is it to not be able to get the catheter in your cervix? What could have been that pop noise or feeling? The doctor asked me if I felt or heard that and I said yes.

Thanks Dr. Q.
