GES SAC AND FETAL POLE BUT NO HEARTBEAT?

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS. I HAD AN ULTRASOUND TODAY AND SAW THE SAC AND FETAL POLE BUT NO HEARTBEAT. I SAW A DOT ON THE FETAL POLE THAT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS THE HEART TO ME BUT IT WASN'T BEATING. I'VE READ THAT ONCE YOU SEE THE FETAL POLE YOU SHOULD SEE A HEARTBEAT. I AM 5WKS3DAYS AND I'M REALLY SCARED THAT SOMETHING'S WRONG. I DO HAVE ANOTHER ULTRASOUND SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW BUT IT'S TO LOOK AT A CYST THAT I HAVE. MAYBE I CAN TALK THEM INTO LOOKING FOR THE HEARTBEAT AGAIN. ANYWAYS ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

Unique Situation

Please give me your prognosis, if you can. I'm currently starting my 8th week. At 6 weeks, I had a HR of 118, next week, 171, and then by friday 93. My bloodwork showed low levels. Got put on progestrone and no they are back. The sac looks like its measuring a week behind the fetus. What are the chances of this pregnancy fixing itself? Have there been any success rates at all?

6 week ultrasound

I went for my 6 week ultrasound today and we could only see the yolk sac. I was expecting to see the baby and heartbeat. The tech said that my uterous is way back and this is why. Does this sound right to you or should I be worried?

DR!!!!

Ok so I went to the doc again today for another u/s. This time he did see a sac in the uterus...just a black hole is what it looked like. Whatever he saw on my ovary last time is still there...hasnt grown and hasnt gotten smaller. It is about 2-3cm. Im thinking its a cyst but the doc says hes not sure. He said the sac in the uterus may be a psudosac? Like a false sac if it was an ectopic pregnancy. Im thinking it is a cyst since it hasnt changed. I had more bloodwork drawn today and more sat. Then another u/s on monday. But I have a couple of questions. If this was an ectopic pregnancy wouldnt whatever is on my ovary have gotten bigger since last time? And since it is 2-3cm big wouldnt that be causing me pain if it was ectopic? Im hoping everything is ok so keep praying for me!!!

HCG Levels

I had a u/s today and we saw a sac. Just a black hole is what it looked like. I had to have more bloodwork to check my HCG levels again. What do they have to be to be able to see a sac. I have heard 1000-2000 and then I heard they only have to be 800 which is right?

Dr.???

I just got back from the doc. I found out I am pregnant!!! They did an ultrasound to check on the cyst that I had. It is gone. But he saw what he said looked like a collapsed cyst on my right side. He did not see anything in the uterus. But wanted to keep a check on me to make sure it wasnt a tubercal pregnancy.

My Questions.....

1. I am probably about 4 weeks preggo...is it too early to see anything in the uterus?

2. What is a collapsed cyst?

3. I just missed my period today. Would I get a + pregancy test this early if it was a tubercal pregnancy?

4. At 4 weeks shouldnt I have seen a gestional sac?

Thank you so much!!

STICKY GLUE NEEDED!!!!

Dr. Q- sac size

HI Dr. Q

Had my first ultrasound yesterday (July 11,2008) I was 7 weeks exactly. We saw a beating heart of 144 bpm. Yahoo! I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer for me:

1)The ultrasound technician entered the date of my LMP to get her info. However, given we have gone through IVF the retrieval date is the date that I should go by for my due date, correct? My retrieval date was June 7, 2008 which puts me at 7 weeks, 1 day today.

2)Because she used my LMP date, the baby measured 6w,6days which is pretty much bang on- minus 1 day. Any problems here?

3) I have a question about the sac. Even though the baby measured 6w,6days, the sac measured 6w, 2days. what does this mean? Will the sac grow appropriately to meet the baby's growing rate? My doctor didn't seem concerned but I am just curious, nontheless. Is there anything that I should ask for clarification purposes or is there any concern that the sac wasn't measuring bigger given baby was measuring at 6w,6d.

Thanks so much!

Empty Gestational Sac

I am 10 weeks pregnant and had my first appointment 2 weeks ago. My doctor did a vaginal ultrasound. First she had trouble finding anything. Then she found a gestational sac - on the screen it just looked like a black circle with nothing in it! Then she found the baby with the heartbeat and all. Why would that gestational sac look empty? Do you think it was possibly another baby that didn't develop? I'm just thinking that it's weird that it looked empty and it seemed like she moved to a different location when she found the baby. I've just been wondering. Thanks!

5 weeks 4 days Pregnant- only a gestational sac

Hi everyone, well, i had pain on the left side again so i went in for an u/s at 5 weeks and 4 days from LMP and all they saw was a gestational sac. Is this normal?

On a positive note, it's definitely not an ectopic pregnancy... although i can't say that i'm too excited yet as i still didn't see a fetal pole or a heartbeat.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Dr. Q, question about ectopic

Hi Dr. Q, if one were to have an ectopic, what is the earliest that you will feel symptoms of it?

I had an ectopic 2 years ago and i had no idea how far along i was... and neither did the surgeon b/c he said ectopics grow at a different rate than normal pregnancy. anyway, i'm only 5 weeks from lmp and i was wondering if i would feel symptoms already. Thank you!
