My HCG level and dr. appointment update

I know I promised you all that I would have this up yesterday, but due to the wonderful WET snow we got over the weekend, my phone lines went down, until this morning. and they are on and off all morning, while they repair them from the storm. I cannot wait till we get dsl internet!!!! no more dial up drama!

As for the dr. yesterday, my beta hcg was 101, so technically it doubled, :):) but not by much! he did an ultrasound but couldn't see much, not sure what he was looking for really, but the cyst on my right ovary is OVER 4 inches now!! he told me to keep taking it easy, he put me back on provera, to keep my progesterone up, and go back in on wednesday for another beta blood test. So, I guess I will go from there.

Anyone get put back on progesterone while pregnant? I am confused by this, because he has always given me progesterone to take to induce my AF, why would he give it to me while im pregnant? I've heard of using progesterone suppositories, but these are the regulare provera pills that I took to start AF?????

Any thoughts ladies? Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, they mean the world to me!! :) :)

Goodluck and hope everyone is doing great!!!

Why do I feel sick?

Ladies I just have a random question. I haven't had af since Aug. But in Sept I took provera that didn't work and last Thursday was my last day of taking prometrium. I got some blood work taken on Monday and the nurse said it looks like my period should be coming because my progesterone is still high...

Well I have been sick to my stomach since Saturday and started throwing up last night and this morning. Could that have anything to do with either the medicine or the fact that the progesterone is still high? Or is it unrelated to anything?

Does that make sense?

Thanks ladies!!

BobbiJ journey to conceive

OK, so I am 27 and have 3 children. I am trying to conceive #4 and last child, before having a total hysterectomy! I have been ttc offically for a year, but unofficially for 2 years. I have PCOS, really bad, and have only 1 ovary due to pcos. I had my left ovary removed in 2004 due to a rare cyst and cysts removed from my right ovary countless times! I have had abnormal paps since atleast 2004, probably earlier. I have been diagnosed with cervical cancer, and have had numerous colposcopies, biopsies, and 1 LEEP! I went on Avandia in 2005 and got pregnant with my youngest daughter in 2006. since then its been a downward spiral for me. I don't ovulate on my own due to pcos. So 2 months ago my ob/gyn told me he would give me 6-9 months to conceive before doing a total hysterectomy. So he started me on metformin, did a month of that, still no AF ( no AF for 6 months actually). So he added provera to start my af, then did my first round of clomid @50mg days 3-7. I went for a follicle screen on cd15 and there was only 1 follicle that measured 1 1/2 cm. dr. wasn't impressed, but did a progesterone level on cd21. I got a positive opk on cd 15 as well as ewcm, and o pains. My progesterone level didnt look like I ovulated, so he said when Af comes that he will raise my dose of clomid to 100 mg. but if she doesn't come by 14dpo (which is tomorrow) then to take hpt's. I took one yesterday and got a bfn.. took one today and have no idea what it is, but think its a faulty test. I am gonna go buy NEW ones tonite and retest tomorrow! GOOLUCK EVERYONE and lots of babydust.

Provera Side Effects, Clomid and Reoccuring twins

I am currently on day three of provera to induce a period because I haven't had one in four months. Provera has worked every time and I have rarely had issues with it, but this time I throw up 30 minutes to an hour after taking it. I am also exhausted when I am normally full of energy even after working nights at the hospital. I called my RE today and he said that if I want I can take it for another two days and then stop and see if I get my period. I will then start clomid on day three if I do. My concern is that if I don't take it long enough will I affect my lining? Will taking it for just five days bring on my period? I am just ready for another pregnancy and all of this makes it harder. Also, I conceived my twins three years ago on 50 mg of clomid days 3-7. What are my odds of having another set? I honestly don't want another set, but when you take clomid you have to know that's the risk. Do my odds go up? My RE says that it's hard to say and it depends on the cycle. There has to be a better answer...

I have PCOS. In order to get AF I have to take provera for 14 days a month. I finished my monthly dose last Saturday and still haven't gotten AF. What do I do now? I'm supposed to start my 2nd cycle with Femara on CD 5. Do I take it 5 days after AF should have started or wait till she shows up?

Im now on CD 40 and still no af after m/c. and im not pregnant. I see the dr on Oct 1'st. But before then, i was wondering if Provera could give me a boost? And should i ask my dr about it? If so, will i be able to ovulate if i took Provera? Will my body go back to normal once it gets the boost it needs to get my periods back?

Blood Work Results!

Ok so I got the phone call from my Dr.'s office and all my blood work came back normal. She stated that my hormone levels were all normal and my ovaries were producing the right amount of estrogen and there fine. So basicly I just have to finish taking the Provera and wait for my AF to come. So basicly I just haven't had my AF due to just getting off the BCP back in May. Hopefully once it comes I will be able to concieve right away. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Growing Inpatient.

Ok so so far I stopped taking BCP in May. The first day of my last AF was June 25th, I havent seen any signs of AF ever since. On August 4th I test with a ClearBlue Digital HPT and had a BFP. However to my dismay it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. I can't explain the pain and disappointment that I felt. Especially the hurt I saw on my bf's face when he found out that in fact I wasn't pregnant anymore. So Its almost been 90 days and still no AF showed so my Dr. put me to start taking Provera to help get an AF. Im praying and keeping my fingers cross that this works and that this would be the only thing I would need to do to get my BFP.

Its ironic for me because I never thought it would be so hard to get pregnant again. Especially since my first 2 pregnancy's were unplanned. I never knew about this whole process of medication or blood work or how some women really struggle to coneive. I guess i really took it for granted. Being that I was so young and naive when i got pregnant the first time I didnt really get to enjoy it or experience it as you normally would. And now that I'm older and more head strong I truly want to have that whole experience with having the morning sickness and even getting big, lol .

All I can do is just pray for my AF and sticky bean.
