really need someones advice much appreaciated!

Well my period usually comes on the last week of the month for usually 5 days. In july i didn't have one at all. Then on august the 7th i believe it was i had pinkish brownish discharge when i wiped for a day or so, then i started bleeding but only for two days. But that was all for august. Still no bleeding or cramping for september. I've been getting quite a few headaches and pains in my lower abdomen. My breasts feel somewhat heavier then they used to and look fuller. I haven't taken a hpt or anything still i kinda wanted someone elses opinion first.

Dr. Q or Dr. Eva can one develop an underactive thyroid from pregnancy

I am having problems with breast feeding and the more and more I look into the information out there I am starting to wonder if it could be a thyroid problem resulting from pregnancy. I am never able to get more than a few drops with a pump and my daughter lost a lot of weight during the 1st 2 weeks that I was breast feeding her exclusively. My breast never got "hard" they always seem soft. From my understanding it is very rare for a person to not to be able to produce milk and read that thyroid levels can change after pregnancy.

Position of twins

By usually what point in a twin pregnancy will the babies be in their "final" position. At what point are they still able to turn around. I am 30 weeks and 3 days along with my twins and both babies have been head down the entire time so far. Today when I went for a check up they said that Baby A has turned head up. What are the chancs of that baby turning back and at what point are they less likely to be turning?

Shouldnt you go to the hospital after your water breaks?

My SIL thinks that she is going to get a pedicure to "kill some time" after her water breaks cuz some lady told her that her water broke at night and she didnt go into the hospital til the late morning the next day.

Is there something like a dry birth that is dangerous or was that an old wives tale?

Oh, wait, you may not even know the answer to this..... ladies???

Is this true?? Help Dr!!!

I am 9 weeks and 3 days pregnant and my friend is about 25 weeks pregnant. We were reading a book yesterday about the changes in the babys development and changes in your bady from week to week. We come across sleeping positions and it said that during pregnancy you CAN NOT lay an your back. They say because it can cut off oxygen and blood flow to the baby. Is this true? I lay on my back alot and I had no idea I was hurting the baby.

Update on Me!!! 13 weeks pregnant and high blood pressure :(

Hi Everyone, I am really bumbed out, I went yesterday for my 12 week check up, and now for the past 2 months, my BP has been high, I have NEVER had high BP, and the doctor is worried about it. I am a small woman, before pregnancy I weighed 114 lbs, and I am 5'1", 24 yrs old. On 7/30 my BP was 122/76, and yesterday it was 141/81. I have to go back next wednesday, for them to check my BP again, the doc said I might have to be put on BP medication, and that they will have to follow my pregnancy more closly. I am really worried about this. This is my third pregnancy and never have had problems like this. Has anyone else had to deal with this? I am really worried, I have been reading, and high BP can cause the baby to be small, to come early, and I might be bed ridden later on in the pregnancy. If any of you have had high BP during pregnancy, please let me know your experences, I am in need of support right now. :)

Also we got to hear the baby's heart beat with a doppler for the first time, which was great! It was 150 bpm, that was the only good thing I got out of yesterday's apt.....

Well as most of you know I am now 25 weeks 4 days. I am starting to freak out abit about how little time I have left alone with Carleigh (who is 6) Is this crazy? I know I am blessed, I know how much I already love "bumpy" but I can't believe it's almost going to be over..i mean my time alone with Carleigh..this is crazy but she is my true joy, my best friend my favorite person on earth..I somehow feel like I am betraying her...

Is this just prego horomons or am I lossing it? I want to meet the baby so bad..but at the same time I feel like my time with Carleigh is being rushed and now she is in full days everyday (grade one) I feel sad..like it will go way to fast..

melissa

DR. Q or other DR. - gasoline fumes while pregnant

So I am worried sick and need help. We store our gas containers in the garage (gas used for the lawn mower) and this summer has been particulary hot and the fumes have been evaporating from the containers. When I come home from work and the garage doors have been closed all day the gas smell is very strong and then it disappers when I leave the doors open for a bit. I can even smell it in the laundry room. THis happened thoughout my entire first tirmester and we finally moved the cans. Can my unborn child have suffored from the fumes that leaked into the laundry room and possoibley my home?

Salicylic Acid

I am 4weeks pregnant and I have been researching the Do's and Don'ts. Well I stumbled across some things that say salicylic acid can cause birth defects.

I use DDF 2% Salicylic Wash 2 times per day and then I also put on a "primer" under my make up that contains Salicylic Acid.

Some places said that only ORAL Salicylic Acid was bad and that Topical was fine as long as you weren't soaking in it.

So now I am really worried. I want to do the best thing for my baby. Can I still follow my current skin care regiment?
