i have read in several places on the internet as well as talked to people that say Vitex can be taken as a supplement in order to help increase your chances of getting pregnant. i was told it is especially helpful for women who have erratic periods. is this true? and if not what exactly is it used for. also is there anything recommended for women who are trying to conceive? sorry this was so long.

i havent had a period from april i've went to thedoctors loads of times and am not pregnant as she give me a blood test to check that she run other test and said it looks like ive a mild case of pcos me and my partner have been ttc from april aswell i just have no clue when am ouvlating shes said i could tell by c-mucus which am lose in that all together my periods have always been on time so its weird for my periods just to stop am not stressed i havent gained weigh am really bloated cause i havent had a periods in 4-5 months

I was on CD 15, but AF just started! What the heck?!?! I'm really getting sick of this! I have 7-9 day periods on average, but I'm only off for about a week before AF comes again!

What's going on? What causes this?

I have a very regular period, but I have not ovulated for months. I know because I have been traking my BBT and using OPK and both indicate no ovulation.

..I am 34 yrs old. I got my periods on the 7th of August which is normal

latest for 3 days and 2 day little spotting. Then i was trying to conceive, for

the first time i had again bleeding on 20th and lasted for two days. Can you

please let me know if there are any changes now that i can become pregnant again

or wait for the next cycle. Please help me.

i usualy have 40 day cycles. my lst cycle began on july 11 and since then i have not had a period- negative tests but some symptoms- fuller breasts, lots of headaches, some metal taste in my mouth, sore muscles ,food and smell aversions, just had a baby 6 months ago but i am not breastfeeding. what do you think?

Irregular periods

I have irregular periods. It comes when it wants, but the average is every 39 days. Sometimes I'll get it 15 days after my last. Anyways I only get a normal, red, 5-7 day, bleeding flow every other month. The other months it's just light, 3-5 day, brown spotting. Could something be wrong with one of my ovaries? Or is this normal? I don't know if I ovulate every month but I know there are months I do.

**We've been ttc for the past 11 months with no luck. We go for fertility testing on Sept 2nd.

Good Morning Doctors, I have very Irregular periods (36-45 days), diagnose PCOS. Five years agos i had tweens but Im searching for the third baby. I have been on metformin(3 months)and Clomid (one cycle) my last perios was July 18 and drink clomid for 5 days. Next Period august 22. I have some pain in my right ovary, backage, headache and feeling that is my period but it hasnt show up. Also breast tenderness. I wantto know if this are goos symptoms of pregnancy and when should i take a home test ( i took one last week but is was Neg), also if the pain in my ovary is something wrong?

I have always had very regular cycles. I should have started my period 4 days ago, but I have yet to see anything. I still feel like I am PMSing. I have had headaches, lower backaches, and feeling very fatigue and tired, but I have had no results. I took a home pregnancy test, but it came back negative. Could I be pregnant?

Last month my cycle was 34 days and today makes cd 34 so I guess I'm a day late now. But with how sporadic my cycle has been this year- who knows. maybe I'll go forty. But I really think I ov'ed on day 21 this time based on my bbt so theoretically I should be bleeding today. If I don't bleed by Sunday, we'll test.

Please wish me luck! I'm trying really hard not to think about it. I don't *feel* pregnant, and I don't have any symptoms really so I'll just try harder to plan next month better.

Dear Doctor, my husband and i has been trying for the past 6-8 moths to make babiess but still no signs of any pregnacy. am 34 year and my husbad is 42 . my husband already has one child. our docter says there is othing wrong with us. and am really worried. i don't want to be 35 before i get pregnant.

hi my periods started late this month that is unlike my regular 30 day cycle it started 6 days late.i have been trying from the past 5 months .it is not possible out here to get a opk so could you pls help if ther is any way how to know wen im ovulating and the right dates to have intercourse. my last period date was 08.08.08.and last month it was 03.07.08.pls suggest me the days i should try .

My surrogate has a perfect 24 day cycle, and today is day 12. There is still no sign of ovulation, temps still low, no cm, no surge on the OPK.

I'm 23 years old. I was on birth control pills for 1 year and went off of them when me and my husband wanted to get pregnant. I didn't have a period for 7 months then when it did come I got an ovarian cyst. It has been a year and a half and I was just pregnant a month ago with Triples but lost the. My doctor has diagnosed me with low progesterone and I want to know is there somewhere natural through foods that I could get progesterone, and what would help my ovaries to wake up so I don't have to use clomid again???

Non-Ovulation but regular periods

I have had Day 2, 8 and 21 blood tests for two cycles. I have been referred to an infertility clinic but I don't have my appointment with the consultant until 1 September so I was hoping to get some answers before I saw them.

I have had two x-rays, the hystersalpingogram (HSG) which showed that I have no blockages and also a pelvic ultra-sound which found no problems at all.

It purely comes down to the blood tests showing that I was not ovulating. I have heavy periods and my body goes through all the regular changes.

We have been trying for a baby since April 2007, with no luck at all!

The infertility nurse has told me that I have to get down to BMI of 29 before any clinical help will be given so now I am really concentrating on losing weight before I see the consultant! I only have a further 12lb to go, but I will hopefully do it before I see the consultant.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

my period that came over a week late is now very long...I was supposed to get my period july 17th. instead it started on july 30th and hasn't shown any signs of ending yet. started out with spotting then light then on & off flow for a few days then heavy flow with clots which is still happening today...I was on clomid...1st round of 50mg for 5 days, 2nd round was 100mg for 5 days and i never started the next round this month...I am currently not on birth control as I am ttc...along with the "lengthy" period is nausea and painful cramps

strange cycle

last month, and this month again I keep having a light bleed after sex. It is always just before my period starts. Last month I had bleeding after sex for three days then brown spotting for a day or two then had period for two days. My cycle used to be brown spotting for two days then period for about 4 to 5 days.

I have started bleeding after sex again this month. It doesn't feel like period has started cos usually get bad cramps.

Is this normal?

The only other thing I have noticed that is different about these two months is that I have been getting cramps and pains in the middle of my cycle.

Can anyone shed some light on my odd cycle?
