Question on what Pads to use

Ok so Lori and I were wondering, as we are nearing the end, im 33weeks 3days, she is 32weeks 5days, and we are just curious what you ladies found as the best ones to use, for (a) while losing the mucus plug and up to delivery time, and (b) after delivery.

I havent used one since oh I first had a period, I always have used tampons since my like oh 3rd time I had a period, so im sooooo not looking forward to this. I dont like them, but I know we cant use tampons, so im cool with it.

Just what did yall find as the best ones.

Thanks soooooooo much, we both GREATLY appreciate it!!!

Tampons vs Pads

A saline ultra sound caused me to start my period early when I talked to the nurse at my dr's office, she told me not to use tampons. Is there a reason why I am not supposed to use them right now? I really dont like wearing pads and if there isnt really a reason why I would like to go back to using tampons.

Cramping at 12DPO

I have a question. I am 11DPO or 12DPO and I have had this AF type cramping since Tuesday. Hoping it is from implantation but I was wondering if there is a bean baking in there is it okay to use a heating pad to alleviate the cramping. I mean its not unbearable but it does seem to be getting stronger.

Tampon pain

So af showed yestyrday (8th apirl 08) 5wks late but at least shes here again.

Wat Im wanting to know is, is it normal to experience sever pain when I use tampoons? I have pcos and endo and that causes me so much pain but everytime I try to use tampoons I seriously feel like I will die from pain. I spoke to my gyno and he checked that Im inserting it correctly and he said I was doing that perfect and couldnt think of why using them would cause me so much pain.

I was sexually abused over the perod of 4yrs and sometimes the guy would abuse me if objects (eg broom handles etc). Could that be wat is causing this pain? or could it be from pcos and endo? Does anyone else have this prob? Im so over using pads they are so yuck and coz Im a heavy bleeder they are heaps messy too.....Help!!!

Magic Bags, Hot Pack and Heating Pads

Well I decided to start a new thread for Dr.Q to answer so that he knows that I would still like his input on this. So...Hi Dr.Q. I know in another post you mentioned that hot water packs and heating pads are ok during pregnancy. I talked to my pharmacist about this and she said that extreme heat is not good and that she wouldnt recommend it. I can understand why extreme heat like from a hot tub or something isnt good but from a magic bag or hot pack..... My lower back is still bothering me and I am looking for a way to help ease that discomfort. I have a magic bag at home and wanted to know if it would safe for me to use it.
