When is CD1 after the HCG trigger shot?

I understand that you should ovulate 24-36 hours after trigger. So, how do you determine which day is CD1?

Hey ladies, Im just wondering what symptoms or signs some of you get when you are ovulating. I am very hopeful I will finally ovulate. I am on round 3 clomid 100 mg this time. I am looking for any signs of ovulation but none so far... Can you guys help me out and let me know what to possibly look for? =)

I am on 100 mg clomid for the first time, last 2 cycles were 50 mg and I did not ovulate. I am very curious as to what 100 will do for me and if anyone else got pregnant when they upped their dosage? I am praying this is it!!

late or no ovulation..

hi ladies and drs..

i don't if i'm late or i didn't ovulate. this month i didn't use a opk. but today i am on cd 42 which is really weird knowing that my longest cycle was 35 days. In july my cycle was 35 days then in august my cycle was 33 days. and *knock on wood* but i never got af yet. i had a little brown bleeding for 2 days on cd 27 and 28 then nothing. A few days after my nipples were really sensitive, not the whole bb, just the nipple area. and now my whole bb is sensitive. Around the time i had bleeding there was no signs that it was coming but it was just 2 days. After the bleeding stopped, i really had sensations that i was going to have a real af, i had mild cramping and was "wet" but when i looked it was only cm.

I was thinking, "can you really have all these progesterone symptoms; sensitive bbs, if never ovulated?"

But then you only can have symptoms if you did ovulate right?

I need opinions from everyone please.

Thanks

p.s. sorry so long.. :)

35 months ttc, new obsticles.

Well its September. DH and I have been TTC for 35 months now. Next month marks our 3rd year anniversary of deciding to "have a baby". 3 Little words that are so easy to say, and so difficult to do.

I recently started Clomid. CD3-7 @ 50 mg. I went on CD12 for a follicle screening... I got less than thrilling news- It looks as though my follicles were too small on CD12 and according to the Dr. I most likely will not Ovulate this month. Bummer, if you choose to believe it. I know losts of women who O very late in their cycles, so Im hoping thats what I am, a late Oer =) I have high hopes that I will get that + OPK this month!

Then he hit me with even harsher news. It looked on the u/s as though I "may" have a subseptate uterus. This is a condition where the uterus is shaped like a "heart" instead of a circle or oval. It happened when I was a fetus and my uterus was just formning. I have no idea how common it is, or if any other women have conceived with such a condition. They want to do another u/s next cycle and see how bad it is. If the septum (part in the middle of the 'dip') is too big, then they will have to go in and do a procedure to fix it. Overall its not a huge deal, some women have kids and never even know they have it... but most often it can cause m/c in the first trimester or other pregnancy problems depending on how severe it is.

I need lots of encouragement and prayers. I feel lost at times. I know to keep hope, there is a chance my uterus is OK and they wont have to do the procedure. There is also a chance that I will still Ovulate.

I am very worried about all of this, it consumes my thoughts and I can't help but get scared/worried. I am holding onto hope and believing that God has our miracle waiting and soon it will be here, when the time is right. I have surrendered myself to him and told him I'm not giving up- just letting him make the calls... its all in his hands anyway. Im ready to be a mother and can't wait until the day I find out I am pregnant =)

Normal Period and Pregnancy?

I had a miscarriage and I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 6 weeks. My period was little cramping and 2 days of normal bleeding with one day of nothing with 2 days of normal bleeding with one day of nothing followed by 1 day of period ending spotting. I think I might be pregnant but I'm not sure. I usually use a green or super pad and never use anything more or less until this week when I had to use a yellow or regular pad. My breast were a bit sore and tingly which never happens. I had it 2 days before I ovulated which was 2 weeks ago. I just really feel that I am. I am due for hsg in 4 days and I know that I can't be pregnant to take it. Please Help.

Signed: Hoping Badly

Is it possible to ovulate after taking provera?

Hi everyone. My doctor has given me (again) to start a period. I've been off BCP since March and only had one period in June (induced by taking Provera). I just had another period induced (this time by taking Provera twice!) My DR wants to wait until our next meeting (3 weeks from now) to discuss where to go from here.

She wants me to try an ovulation kit this month, however, I'm reading that it's not probable that I will ovulate on my own...since I haven't been having periods on my own.

Any thoughts?

I guess I'm just trying to stay positive that maybe I will miraculously ovulate this month. Should I try to use OPK's this month? Is it possible?

Thank you in advance! :)

how to ovulate sooner

Hi,

Will taking clomid cd 3/7 help you ovulate sooner than on cd 5/9? I've done one round on 5/9 and my husband will be out of town when I'm supposed to ovulate on this next round of clomid, so I'm wondering if I should start the clomid a bit earlier...?

Clomid not helpful?

Hi ladies was reading the paper this morning and there was an article on fertillity treatment. It was discussing a study that found for women who ovulate on there own clomid does not help. In fact they found that it may decrease pregnanncy rates. They found it most helpfil for ladies with PCOS.

It also said Natural IUI was a waste of time. I was going to ask my doctor for clomid. However i do ovulate on my own.

Now i am thinking of moving straight to IUI with Injectabes. Anyway found it interesting and thought I would share!

Clomid and ovulation

Hello,

My lovely and amazing husband and I have been ttc for 12 months. I am 30 y/o and always had sporadic few periods. After stopping BCP in Sept 07, I had 1 period in January and then nothing (yes, yes, hindsight is 20/20...looks like I never needed the BCP to begin with). My OBGYN started me on 5-9 Clomid 50 mg in June 08 after inducing a period. I didn't ovulate the first cycle and OBGYN told me if pregnancy test was negative on day 28 to just start the clomid again and not worry about having a period.

I ovulated on this 2nd round of 50 mg about 6-7 days after the last dose ( + opk, increased temp, sore nipples) but did not get pregnant. My period came on day 28 and I started the 3rd round of clomid on CD 3.

It is now 7 days past the last dose (cd 14) and I have not had a + LH surge with opk. Last month I had + opk for 3 days before ovulating and my BT's preovulation were pretty consistent around 97.6-97.7 and post ovulation around 98.1-98.3. So far this cycle my BT seem to flux from 97.6-98.

Is it possible/normal to ovulate at different times or to ovulate for one cycle and not another while on Clomid? Might I still ovulate this month?Should I talk to my OBGYN about increasing to 100 mg if I don't ovulate this month? When should my uterine lining thickness be checked (I understand that Clomid can cause thinning and that this can impact implantation)?

Ugh! This is so frustrating. I promised that I wouldn't get caught up in the stress of it all but it just seems to have consumed me without my consent...

Thank you for your time and interest in helping me settle the flurry of questions in my head.

Kind regards,

Sarah
