every day Intercourse

Everyone says that one should do the intercourse every other day and not every day. Can you tell me the reason? Is it because in one days time the sperms production is very less or is there any other reason?

Other Medications with Clomid

I'm going to start taking Provera and Clomid shortly. I was just wondering if it is ok to take fluid pills while taking clomid and provera. Will it interfer with the medications and or will it hurt me? Thanks so much!

re ;clomid and other fertility drugs

hi dr.v! i wanted to know if there is any other fertility drug that can be prescribed for me besides clomid? see i have a medical history of stroke due to a cranianatomy 8 yrs ago and even though my doc had this information he still prescribed clomid. in may when i started my first dose of it it was one tablet a day on days 3-7 of cycle which was fine had no side effects or anything ,now that he has increased it to 2 tablets a day i have be getting bothersome headaches and they are uncomfortable i called my dr. and one of his partners said to stop taking it and go be evaualted by my primary care dr. in which i am going to my neurologist the 15th of this month. so is there any other fertility drugs that don'tcause these side effects or minimal side effects for my case? if so can you please let me know otherwise what would be you advice on me being able to become pregnant with no side effects from the drugs?

thank you so much, jenn

affect on pregnancy or foetus

Thanks for replying. Doc, i am sorry. by intestional koch i meant intestinal TB which was dedected in june 2004 by vaginal usg and confirmed thru CT scan. after 6 mths CT scan was repeated and it was found that the obstruction has cleared. Then after another 3 mths barium xray was done. no strictures was found then. my treatment ended in july 2005. I took TB drugs and streoirds thru out the treatment period as suggested by my doc. I worry that TB virus will affect again and cause problems to some other part of my body. Will my getting TB have any affect on my pregnancy or foetus?

ovulation

Thanks for your answer. And now a few additional questions, please. First of all, from the one month cycle tests how accurate is it to say that I don't ovualte? Can it be that I do ovulate buit not each cycle? Then, I have heard that while doing progesterone test docs rely on a normal 28 day cycle. Can it be that with my 33 day cycle progesterone was not enough developed by the testing time? Also, is there other way to tell if you did ovulate or not besides progesterone tests? I have read a lot about BBT and actually started using it 2 days ago. But again lots of questions-- yesterday and today my temp was consequently 97.7, 97.77. What counts more-- that afterovulation temp should be more than 98.0, or that it should be more than preovulatory temp? Sorry I don't know what my temp was before positive OPK... But is there a chance that with 97.77 I have already ovulated?

I am so thankful for your patience and help.
