What do you think about my menstrual cycles?

So I was wondering if someone could make sense out of my menstrual cycle. I could you all of your input on it. I have come up w/the averages for my cycle4 through a program and was wondering if someone could shed some light to it. Below is my menstrual cycle chart with ovulation averages for the last 7 cycles/ months.

Ovulation Day:

|Avg|Min|Max|

OPK |17|14|22|

Luteal Phase :

|Avg| Min|Max|

OPK |9|5|16|

Cycle Length:

|Avg|Min|Max|

Days |26 19|36|

# of Cycles:

7

OPK Agreement:

0%

This is based on my last 7 cycles from Aug-Feb & using opks.

What seems to be wrong with my menstrual cycles

So I was wondering if someone could make sense out of my menstural cycle. I'm confused how I could be "-2" for the Luteal Phase minimum average! I know 1 month I had 3 days of break through bleeding that was no heavier than spotting & the program seems to count only FF (Full Flow) i.e. light to heavy bleeding as CD1 not spotting. Below is my mestrual cycle chart with ovulation averages for the last 7 cycles/ months.

Ovulation Day:

|Avg|Min|Max|

OPK |17|14|22|

Luteal Phase :

|Avg| Min|Max|

OPK |9|-2|16|

Cycle Length:

|Avg|Min|Max|

Days |26 19|36|

# of Cycles:

7

OPK Agreement:

0%

This is based on my last 7 cycles from Aug-Feb & using opks.

Could i be ovulating on my own?

Hey docs, firstly ft is like a life line its a fantastic site.

I was wondering if perhaps some months i ovluate and some months i don't.

I always have a regular cyle 28 days so i never thought i had a problem but re said that i have pcos and didn't look to be ovulating on my own but after 21 day bloods said that there were some signs of ovulation.

I did two cycles of injectables (puregon 50iu days 4, 6, 8 and trigger shot) and iui to no avail :o( dh does have some issues with a low count too but motility is great.

RE said that my ovaries didn't look like ones that yeilded a 28 day cycle but every month i do notice the twinges in my side the ewcm and sore bb's . Does that mean ovulation? i always though it did but maybe i was wrong. can you ovulate just a bit?? Is that what they mean by "some signs"

I think i need a break from the cycle this month (emotionally and financiallly) and we are now considering icsi but i was wondering if we ttc in the meantime is there any chance?

I have my opk's for this month but i've never used them before i think i'm going to start testing at day 10 and bbt, but last month my temps seemed to be low to start with whats the normal temp?

Sorry i know this is a long one would be ever so grateful for all your wisdom x

Still ttc officially 28 cycles in

I had posted the one titled our journey to a bfp.... i hope , but we got another bfn. So here we go again .

A little about us , 28 cycles ago we decided to have a child , we figured it would be maybe six months and we would be preggo. NOPE finally convinced the hubby that we needed help (after days of crying) He did sa , got great results . Me not so great , i was barely showing ovulation , have been on clomid since then with no luck , have also used preseed , soft cups ,opks ,bbt , and lots and lots of bding!

This is my last cycle of clomid , if this doesnt work we are out of options for a lil while . So hubby and I have decided to give the tb method a go when i get my +++opk . wish us luck , I am also taking b-6 b-12 and will be eating pinapple core this month . I am gonna put my new calendar up . Any thoughts or advice is more than welcome I know other gals on here know more about this stuff than me so any advice is always welcome

The New Plan and Free Stuff!

Hey Ladies!

I thought I'd do a little update. After giving it a lot of thought, we are cancelling our RE appointment and trying a new OBGYN I found instead. The reason is simply a matter of cost...our insurance will cover OBGYN visits, but not RE visits, so we're going to exhaust all our options with the OB first.

This doctor is supposed to be really good. I met him the other day and told him that my main priority was getting my periods going again, and asked if he could help me do that. We set up an appointment, and I go to see him this afternoon. He told me he would do a full work-up, so hopefully we can figure out where to go from here. *Fingers Crossed*

Also, I wanted to mention that on my blog, I am doing a give-away sponsored by Fairhavenhealth.com (the people who make Fertil-Aid products.) I am giving away an ovulation microscope, and I wanted you guys to have a chance to enter if you wanted.

You can visit my blog by clicking here:

When using a opk for a hpt does a second line ALWAYS appear even if not ovulation?

I know using opk is not better than a hpt but I had some laying around and read about some girls using them... What I'm wondering is I am 12dpo and I tested this morning with one (fmu) and there was a faint second line.. Is there always a faint second line even if your not ovulating or would there be nothing... I;m testing for pregnancy but just curious about this line.... :)

Can clearblue digital ovulation tests give you a false positive?

I was wondering if the digital ovulation tests can give you a false positive? I got my smiley face on June 21, 2009. I suspect that I ovulated June 22, 2009. I am 1 week late for my period, and hpt keep coming back negative. So i'm just curious if maybe the ovulation tests lied, and I didnt ovulate at all?

OPK review plz

Hello everyone! I am new to this site and tracking ovulation as well. I have been using clear blue ovulation test strips and I have been getting the same results for 4 days, the first day I took one my line was barely visible. However after the first OPK they have been similar to the ones I have posted for review. I cant really give you a CD because my period has been irregular for some time now. But what should I make of these OPks? Is a sugre coming? Also CM has been very much like the EWCM.
taking clomid for the 2nd time and confused with OPK's

My doctor started me out on 100mg's of clomid this time around versus my first time 3 years ago when they started me out at 50mg's. After the 5th day of my clomid cycle I started testing for ovulation using the OPK's I have also been having intercourse since my menstrual cycle ended which was about 6 days after getting it on April 17th 2009. Every site I have been on calculates my ovulation at anywhere between April 28- May 5 I took an ovulation test today and the line is VERY bold can that be accurate? I have also notice it being very uncomfortable to have intercourse. What does this mean?

positive opk, 2 days in a row...

I am on my 2nd round of clomid days 3-7, and using a digital opk got negative results on cd 9 and 10. I got a positive on cd 12 at 3pm, so we babydanced that night. I tested my opk and on cd 12 at around 4pm I still had a positive result. We skipped babydancing last night because my dh was not home. I had an ultrasound today, cd 13 and had multiple follicles. She saw some fluid and then a couple were around 23mm. My lining was 1.2 cm. Did I time the bd wrong? Why would i have 2 positive opks? When should I begin prometrium? Is it possible that I didn't ovulate yet? Thanks again for your thoughts.

OPK PICS to CYCLE DAY 20 for *DANI*

Okay....at the request of many, here is an updated photo of my OPK's. (Remember I lost day 15 and one from day 16 so you don't have the complete picture, but pretty close).

As you can see, it's pretty dark on day 17, darker on day 18, then lighter on day 19, and a bit darker on day 20. I think day 18 is still the darkest, but if I cover all the labels up, DH says they all look about the same.

Tell me what you think? They have been so random it's hard to tell if it's all a fluke or what. Oh, I also took one digital one and it was negative. That was on day 19.

Thanks ladies! Babydust!

OPK's and true ovulation (Pictures)

So this is my first cycle using OPK's. I know that once the second line is as dark as test line then I will O in like 24 hours. I am on CD15 today and these are my OPK's for the past 3 days. Does it look like I should be ovulating within the next week?

im having ovulation pains everymonth with a lot of EWCM around 14-16 days of my cycle and get my period on day 28-29 .. so how can i know if im ovulating or not? opks will show no ovulation for me at any time of the month if im not ovulating?

clomid and opk's

Iam on my first round of clomid

cds 7-11 50 mg.

this is cd 21.

I also have pcos.

I have been using opks sincce cd 14

All have been negative, but were getting darker each day, until cd 17.

I took an opk @ 10 am and it was almost a positive. The result line almost matched the control line.

So I thought that if I took an opk that night that it would definately be a positive. But when I took another that night @ 6pm, it was very light and obviously a negative.

Does that mean I ovulated between 10am and 6pm?

I also had a high, open cervix and ewcm. But my cervix felt hard.

We bd'ed everyday from cd 13-19.

What are my chances of concieving this cycle, and should I get a progesterone test?

Should i keep using the opks?

What To Do Since I'm Past My Luteal Phase Without a +HPT

I have been charting for quite some time. I always have the same length LP. I always begin spotting and cramping on the 13th day and my temp always drops on 14th day followed by my period. I am now on the 14th dpo, with my temp as high as ever, no spotting and still a negative HPT. I know for a fact that I ovulated at the time my chart says I did.

I do not have insurance yet (it kicks in next month) so I don't want to run to a doctor yet, but how long should I wait before going to a free clinic? Also, are OPKs accurate once you are pregnant?
