Trying to conceive number 2....

So I guess I will finally get around to posting my journey. My husband and I have a beautiful, healthy 10 month old little girl, Abigail Noelle. She is such a miracle to me because I have 45-50 day cycles and do not always ovulate. We knew it would be tricky to have babies so we got started...lo and behold there she was...the FIRST month we tried!!! She is such an amazing little person and we feel so blessed to have her!

We wanted to try for our 2nd one so we could have them close together and also because we knew we were truly blessed with how quickly we were able to conceive Abigail. We began trying for another little blessing around April or May. I was still nursing so this proved to be a little tricky. I quit nursing in July and had one period. 55 days later still no period... I went to my OB and he started me on progesterone. My body is having a hard time regulating since having my little girl and given my history it is taking even longer than most women. I have had one period on progesterone and am currently taking my second round. I take 10 mg for 10 days. When I get this period my doctor will start me on Clomid. He first wanted me to have 2 full periods. Ironically, I was set to start Clomid the month after I found out I was pregnant with Abigail and never had to use it =). I am a little nervous but have been doing my homework and it seems safe! I can't wait for these 7 more days of provera to be up so Aunt Flo can pay me a visit and we can start ovulating again =) Hee hee...I never thought I would be so anxious to get my period!

How long have I really been preggo???

Okay. I get the whole "pregnancy counts from the first day of your last period" So if i counted it that way i would be 5 1/2 weeks. BUT... I didn't ovulate on day 14.. it was on day 18 after taking ovidrel on day 17 ( i think thats how it works) So doesnt that technically push me back to 4 1/2 weeks?? My beta number falls into the normal range of 4-5 weeks preggo. Anyone?? Help.. i am so confused..

9 or 10 dpo beta test 4?? Pos preg tests

I got my numbers back from Wednesday. It was 4:( I don't understand. I thought you have to have at least 25 to get a positive hpt? I don't understand. The dr. said the preg test was negative because anything under 6 is negative. So I am not even pregnant? I took 2 early response tests on Wed. Both VERY faint pos. Did the beta. Took 1 equate tests yesterday and that was faint positive, one internet cheapie test yesterday and that was EXTREMELY FAINT positive and one clearblue digital last night and that SAID "PREGNANT". I don't get why my beta was just 4:( (sobbing my head off now).

Dr. does getting a 4 on my HCG # doom my pregnancy??? I don't understand the positive test with the BETA of 4.

Can you help me understand?

I did another blood test today but the Dr. said that it wasn't needed. I told him that I needed it. So we did it. I won't get those results until Monday late morning.

Follicle Question

So today I went in for an SIS because my HSG came back with a spot on my Uterus. Well everything turned out OK! )

I'm on CD 7 and she gave me Clomid to start tonight days 7-11. We saw 10 Follicles on one Ovary and 24 on my other one. Of course they aren't near mature yet.

My question is.....Is that amount of Follicles normal? Will they go away as Ovulation (If clomid works) nears ? I ask because my husband and I would like for me to have one more cycle before doing Clomid and an IUI, but if this many follicles are rare we don't want to pass this chance up.

Thank you!

Gina

What is considered a normal cycle on Chlomid?

Hi!

I am 33 years old. I am on my third cycle of Chlomid (days 5 to 9)..the first one, I got my period on day 34..the second, like 50! Now, I am day 33 in my third cycle, (now, 100mg)and spotting a liiittle bit..hopefully,implantation bleeding...my breasts are sore, and I am very moody...this third time,we tried with an ovulation kit, and peaked on days 18 and 19..I wanted to know, how long should my cycle be with chlomid? Is there an average number of days that your cycle should last when on Chlomid? I dont know how many days to wait for a pregnancy test, since I am soo irregular...Thanks a million for "listening"...T.
