can i be pregnant if hpt came back negative

I have one tube from a previous ectopic i am 38 years old and have been trying for a little over a year i am 6 days late with my period i took the "answer early pregnancy test" and used for morning urine it came back negative.. I have all the symptoms of being pregnant is it possible that the hpt is wrong and I am or could I have skipped ovulation ( seeing as i only have one tube) i am NEVER late in fact when i stress i am early so this is very puzzling to me?? and i have alot of clear discharge i keep thinking i got my period and run to the bathroom and nothing???? thanks for any help..

Hello Everyone-

I did trigger shot on Thurs. Oct. 30th, IUIs on Friday and Sat. 11/1 & 11/2. Today is 19dpiui and still no AF. This isn't the norm for me, I'm pretty regular and don't recall ever going past a 30cd cycle. Today is cd33. I did many hpt and all BFNs. I feel some cramping like AF is coming and then they go away, none now. No symptoms at all. Finally went to do a blood test yesterday, late around 5pm....waiting for results and going CRAZY!!!!! I'm expecting another BFN b/c of all the BFNs on hpt but holding out for hope b/c no AF yet!!!!

Hvnt got AF for 2 weeks now. checked twice at home and its neg..

doc suggested bloodwork but reports will be out bt monday... and my doc will be away till wed.. can i please know what is required amount of hcg in blood for preg..

so i can read my reports atleast..plz help... thanks.

Hiya,

As you can tell from the subject im so frustrated. I do a test Every Friday and it always says the same, NEG.

I have PCOS and Endometriosis so i didnt have a good start but im trying and trying.

My Doc put me on Metformin, which makes me sick but im pushing on.

I always thought i would be fertile as i have fallen pregnant twice before unfortunetly didnt stick, Thats when they found out what was wrong.

I start clomid In Feb but it just feels like it will never happen.

Im starting to be jelous of my partners ex as they had 3 kids, No problem. Yet im only 20 and should be fit and healthy and have no problems either.

Has anyone else felt like this.

HELP im pulling my hair out over this

Negative blood test and positive hpt.

Here is my HPT from this morning:

I went in for BW yesterday. My rusults cam back as less then 5 for HCG and at 7 for pergestrone. When I had my bw for progestrone (o detection) I was at 15.

Why or how in your opinion could I get a + hpt but not be pg. This is my second one. She said my progestron droped, but not down to 0 which is from a possible cyst and may be causing a false + on a HPT.

Please help make light of this question in better hope that nobody else has to question this too. It was kinda embarrassing to be happy and post my + only to hear this from my RE.

I was at a 15 on cd23 for bw and droped to a 7 as of yesterday. She said If I were indeed pg progestrone would not have drope, but would have gone up.

So with it droping but not to a 0 what does this really mean?

Ok ladies... I am officially a week late for my period. Last month I was cursed with a horrible corpus luteum cyst which caused me to be late, and be admitted to the hospital. Since then (and with no surgery) my doc told me that my cyst was gone, and that to go back to having fun trying to get knocked up.

I am willing to entertain the idea that I ovulated late... and I accounted for that by BDing up till 3 dp (supposed) o.

I went to my doctor; her tests were neg, my tests were neg. I havent done a blood test because I dont have the time. They told me to try again in 10 days and if I'm still peeing blanks, to come on back.

Has anyone else experienced a late period after a corpus luteum cyst? I certainly feel pregnant...

7 days late, neg hpts and blood test

So, at this point I believe its pretty conclusive that I'm not pregnant... what with neg hpts and a blood test. However, I am perplexed since I dont have PCOS, irregular periods, or have had any stress, weight gain/loss or anything else which could trigger this. When trying to conceive, I need to know when I'm ovulating in order to, ya know, get the job done. However, I'm now at a loss. I dont know when/if/how I will ovulate if I skip a period.

What advice do you have to someone who is in the midst of skipping a period who still wants to have use for this month? Should I just buy copious amounts of opks and start a'peein?

Also, I dont know if this is related, but I have had acne and tender boobs as though I am going to have a period very soon... but all cervical checks come up clear and dry. My right hip/ovarian area tends to throb at times and I'm worried that I might have a cyst. Are those just random? Do you not have to have a history to just have a random one?

Many questions, to be sure. Thanks in advance.

Hey Dr Q. Well we checked follicle size on25th (21mm) we had sex 26 and 27th, went back on 30th ultrasound showed i had realeased egg.(I cramp when i ovulate and spot, that happend sunday 27th evening). On 30th i started prometruim, and today aug8th neg. pregnancy test, how did we miss? everytime we have tried to get preg. i got preg that month just couldnt carry to term, now i have re and meds but it didnt take this time just wondering some reasons why? Or could we have tested to early, the nurse said no we would haeve seen something by now. I thought you could implant up to 12dpo and then it took a few days to make hcg.

I would just now be 12dpo could i still be preg and it just not show up? they told me to quit taking my prometruim and i should start my peroid. thank you so much for your time, i dont know what i would do without this sight.

23 dpo, negative test

Hello,

I am charting and am currently 23 dpo. I have several symptoms of pregancy including sore nipples (never had with period before), exhaustion, increased appetite, frequent urination, and one day of mild cramping earlier this week. My temps have started climbing even higher over the last week which has never happened prior to period. I tested at 18 dpo and 21 dpo and both were neg. Is it possible that it's too early for me to see a pos, or could this be something else entirely, such as a cyst? My doc found a cyst in my right ovary in Feb, but I have had normal periods since then. When should I test again?

I would really like your girls opinions.... Well I decided to take this month off of ttc since we hit our 2 year mark in march and still couldn't escape the roller coaster. Last cycle I was 2 weeks late and had a terrible af that lasted 11 days(normally its only 5) and sorry for the tmi but plum sized clots! Now again this month I continued the metformin but not the clomid. I was due for AF on april 6th. On march 30th I started AF like cramping which is a little early for me to start the "pms" symptoms. I thought Af was coming and NOTHING! I took an HPT on monday the 7th which made me a day late and it was negative. Now I am a week late and don't know what else to do. My breasts were sore a couple days ago now nothing... I am a little nauseous(its on a off)..had cramping that lasted about 2 weeks(sometimes really bad cramping) and has completely stopped now. I called my doc and she said to give it another week before I call her back to come in! I was going to take another HPT but I don't know if there is any point. I am sorry this was long winded but I was hoping you girls could help me out and give me some opinions! Should I maybe wait another week and see if AF comes and then test again?? Thanks girls!

I know I probably tested too early but hpt was a BFN at 12dpo. I have been having really sore breasts, low backache, a tad bit of nausea and some mild cramping. I just wondered if there is still a chance and I see my OB/GYN tomorrow for a pap and wondered if they will be able to tell if I am pregnant?

ovulation testing

I'm getting pretty good at using the OPK test strips and i normally have a 27 day cycle on avg. i've jumped the gun this month and begun testing on day 9 instead of day 11...it's currently day 14 for me and i still havent had even a blip of a result (not a faint line or anything) the test band shows up but that is it.

is this somewhat normal can a cycle change like that?

spotting EARLY after ovulation

This month was really strange in terms of ovulation for me. The first day of my period was Sept 26th. I started tracking my ovulating with the OPK on day 10 and got a neg, but it was POS on days 11-13, which is earlier than my usual 14-16. I tested on day 14 and it was back to a clear neg. We managed to have sex a few times on days 11-13. I am now on day 18, and last night i had a little very lt red spotting, which was odd being so early. So i took a pregnancy test, although i knew the directions said you could take this test as early as 7 DPO. I was only about 3, maybe 4 past. The test said negative. Of course my friend Jolene assured me it could still be positive and i just tested way too early. Is it a possibility i could still be pregnant with this early early neg result? AND why the lt red spotting? I haven't had any today yet.
