Lost my mucous plug!

Well ladies I wanted to keep you all posted on how things are going. I lost my mucous plug this morning so this means that these babies could really be here soon. The nurse I talked to said that majority of patients will go into labor within 48 hours of losing it. I will keep you all posted as things progress!

Trying to conceive! Question about cervical mucous.

We are trying for our 2nd child. My monthly cycles are 32 days. My last period was June 15th. I used a ovulation calculator and calendars to help me with to figure when i would ovulate. They all said July 3rd. Well we had sex June 30th, July 1st, and July 2nd all at around 9 pm. But i think i may have ovulated on July 2nd rather than the 3rd, because when i wiped from going to the bathroom i had stretchy clear egg white type mucous just a little. Then the next few days nothingcompletely dry down there, But today when i went to the bathroom which is July 9th i had a tiny tiny bit of mucous on the paper and my underwear was wet. What do you think is the problem im scared confused and just wanna know whats up. THANK YOU!!

Is it possible to lose the mucous plug in pieces?

Okay.. so I'm pretty sure I lost part of my mucous plug the other day... but someone just told me that you either lose the whole thing or you don't...

Is that true? Or can you lose it in pieces? B/C what I lost was not big enough to be the whole thing... but if it wasn't part of it.. I don't know WHAT it was!

I think I lost part of my mucous plug for sure this morning!

Sorry if this is gross/tmi, but right after dh left for work, I went to the bathroom, and now my dr has me all obsessed with checking the TP again.. haha..

Well, when I wiped, the TP had a bunch of mucous on it, with a streak of blood down the middle.. it wasn't as much as I would guess the full plug is.. but it has to be part of it!!!

Can the doctor tell if you've lost your mucous plug?

My dr has asked me at every recent appointment if I've noticed losing the mucous plug or had a bloody show, which I haven't noticed.

She mentioned I could lose it and not notice b/c we don't always look in the toilet when we use it...

But, by exam, could she tell if it was still there or not?

Miconazole and Mucous plug

Dr Q and ladies, thanks for answering my previous question on dialation. My next question is:

with 3 Cm dialation, Im wondering...

1. Is the cervix open?

2. Could I have lost the plug (I have no idea coz I have had the heavy discharge throughout pregnancy, so heavy I wear a pad)?

3. Ive been using Miconazole Vaginal the last 4 days. If the cervix is open..any harm and Can I continue?

Cervical Mucous

If I have poor cervical mucous at ovulation will using preseed help. If my natural mucous is hostile to the sperm would preseed still help? The clomid is really hard on my mucous. I am also planning on using mucinex. When should I start that. Thanks again, sorry to ask so many questions.

Cervical mucous

My RE told me I had poor cervical mucous due to overstimulation on clomid. He based that only on obsevation not testing. Does that mean there no hope for pregnancy this cycle? I had 8 follicles for ovulation, do you think there's a chance even with poor mucous? I am very dissapointed about this. Thanks

3rd round of IUI

Hi Dr. Q,

Well today is the first day I could test after IUI and it was a BFN. The medication I am taking is 50mg of clomid CD 3-7 5mg of dexamethasone CD 3-12 and a shot of hcg on or around CD 12 depending on the size of the folicle. I have read that clomid can thicken the cervical mucous, should I ask my doctor about that when I go for my CD 3 ultrasound or does the IUI trump the need for cervical mucous to be that thinner consistency?

implantation problems

I have a son who is almost 2 years old that I conceived through IUI and am now going for our second. I recently had the first of our IUI treatments on the 11th and 12th of Sept. I now know that it was not successful but on Sun and Mon I had some thick mucous that had the slightest brownish tint to it. That got me hopeful that I was experiencing implantation spotting. Is it possible that that was the fertilized egg that did not implant?
