temping and using monitor

I notice that if I do look at my chart as temp alone, it looks like my ovulation day was cd18 and then the temp spiked. The monitor showed Peak day as day 21 and there was another temp spike. Which is my true ovulation day? Do I follow the temp or the monitor?

ovacue fertility monitor

Anyone use an ovacue fertility monitor?? I am thinking about purchasing one and was wondering what people thought of it. Is it reliable? Is it difficult to use?

I like that you never have to buy anything else for it - like no sensors and stuff. Would you recommend it??

Thanks!

My lh surge and femara?

I am on my 4th month of femara. I usually get a positive on my clear blue fertility monitor (peak fertility) by CD 16 at the latest. Last month I took a month off though so the monitor read my levels without medication. This month on CD 11 I was getting an internal ultrasound for cysts. I had none but had 2 follicles that were 3.2 cm on right and 4 follicles that were around 1.7 or 1.8 on my left. But since then I have still been getting high fertility and never peak on my monitor. My doc though I would O anytime. Today is CD 17. On CD 15 I was really crampy like I am when I o. Could the monitor have missed my LH surge since you test in the morning? I tested at 6 a.m. and started feeling crampy around 9 a.m. I had good CM too. Could the monitor not have caught my LH surge since my estrogen levels would be high because of the femara? I am very confused =( We have BD'd every night anyway but now I am worried that I will O really late!

Clear Blue easy fertility monitor and Ovulation

Hello I am currently on CD16 & my 2nd cycle of femara. Normally I ovulate at the earliest CD20-24 this month I got my first high reading on CD13 & we BD'd CD14 high reading due to family emergancy we weren't able to BD, CD15 another high reading Bd'd and then today CD16 1st peak reading BD'd twice this AM & plan on again tonight. I am worried though since we didn't BD on CD14 when I had a high reading. Do you usually ovulate the day of your peak reading or the next day? How do you think my chances are? Thanks

Help using ClearBlue Fertility Monitor

Clearblue Fertility Monitor help?

I was reading about how to use it on the website, i guess i just don't really get it... I'm new to these things.

*Do i start using it when my period starts?

* When i push the "M" that means i have 6 hours to do a test?

* it says on mornings when the monitor requires more info, another test will be required, does that mean that the machine stays on 24/7 and i have to keep an eye on it?

*Do i have to do one test a day? if so how long do i do this for?

Please help, I'm all confused.

Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor or Clearblue Ovulation Predictor Kit

Hey gals, I currentl have the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor while at the same time being on Clomid. In the booklet that comes along with the monitor, it says that ovulation readings will be affected by Clomid. Here's my question, I am having an IUI this month for the first time and being that I have to track my own ovulation, RE reccomends the Clearblue Ovulation kit to recognize ovulation. Is there a drastic difference between the monitor and the ovulation predictor kit? Don't they operate the same? Anyone with input or experience, please feel free to chime in!!!! Thank you.

Do you ovulate on the first or second Peak w/ the CBEFM Clear Blue Fertility Monitor?

This is my first month back TTC since my miscarriage in September. I hadn't been having regular periods for awhile. I was before I had my son, and several months afterwards then they just stopped all my hormone levels were normal when they checked. But my OB put me on something to start a period and clomid to for 3 months w/ no success and then she put me on femara for 1 cycle and we concieved but it ended in a miscarriage all the "active tissue" didn't disperce so I was given the methorexate injection and told to wait 3 months which we did I had been checking for ovulation with OPK's since and have gotten a positive every month. This month I used my fertility monitor on CD12-21 I got a high reading and CD22 peak and today CD23 another peak, but no temp. rise. When I was on the fertility meds I always got a temp rise after the first peak. Is it possibe I ovulated today and will get a peak tomorrow? I took the first test at 9am yesterday and the second one 8am today. Thank you!

Fertility monitor accuracy

Can a fertility monitor give you a false LH surge? My fertility monitor has been showing me ovulate around days 15-17 the last 3 cycles. I have not gotten pregnant but feel hopeful the Femara is helpful. But, could the medicine or anything else give me a false lh surge? The company said it could give you false high days because of high estrogen levels caused by the medicine but they did not say anything about peak days. Do you think I am ovulating if it says I am?

Can a Fertility Monitor detect pregnancy?

I had a miscarriage in September which she had to have a methorexate injection for. My periods were irregular before my miscarriage so I was unsure when to expect to ovulate or when to expect my period. On November 27th-30th I had light spotting/bleeding but I wasn't sure if I should count that as my regular period so I didn't set my monitor but used OPK's to test for ovulation. On CD15 I got a positive OPK I tried to set my fertility monitor so I could test on it as well, but since I wasn't sure if that bleeding was my period I set it late and wasn't able to test until CD20 and it gave me a low reading, however I recorded a second huge temp. rise yesterday and my fertility monitor is now giving me a high reading both yesterday and today. So my question is can the fertility monitor detect pregnacy & that is why it is giving her a high reading? Or is it possible the OPK's were wrong and I haven't yet ovulated? But then I don't understand why my temp. would of had 2 spikes. Anyhow any input would be appreciated I plan on testing tomorrow reguardless just curious what you all think.

clear blue easy fertility monitor

Hello I had a miscarriage back in September that I had to have a methorexate injection for. So I am not sure when to expect my period or ovulation. I had some light spotting/bleeding November 27-30th but I wasn't sure if I should count that as my period or not so I didn't set my monitor I was trying to use OPK's to try to detect ovulation on December 14th which would be CD16 I think I had a positive OPK but when I took on the next day it was negative and then on the 16th it was def. positive again the test line was darker than the other line. I tried to turn my CBEFM on to see what it said but by the time I got it to where I could test I was already on CD20 and it gave me a low reading. So I stopped taking it assuming I had ovulated on the 16th. However, this morning my temp spiked up to 97.7 my coverline according to fertility friend is 96.6, my temps have only been 97.0-97.2 so I decided to do a test on my CBEFM and it is giving me a High reading. Is it possible I haven't Ovulated yet and am going to, or did I miscalculate ovulation and the temp rise today was due to ovulation? Sorry this was so long but I wanted to give you all the information for a more accurate answer. thank you!

does it sound like i had implantation bleeding or not, please help

hi

me and my husband are ttc#1, this is our 3rd month trying, i got my last period on the 15th november, my cycle length is 35 days, i am using the clearblue monitor, we have been bding every 2 days since my period went and on the two days i got peaks on the monitor.

anyway yesterday i got a very light pinky discharge in my underwear and i was thinking it was maybe implantation bleeding, though i know not everyone gets this, so i dont have my hopes up. it is gone today and only lasted a couple of hours yesterday

my period is due on the 20th and i am only 6dpo at the moment

does it sound like i had implantation bleeding or not

question about accuracy of fertility monitor?

I have one of those fertility monitors. It is electronic. Anyway, I just took my trigger shot two days ago (Monday) and yesterday the fertility monitor did not ask them for a reading (you have to wait for it to ask you for a reading..sort of annoying) but I did urinate on the stick that comes with it (I know how to read them) and it gave me two lines which means I am ovulating. Today I urinated on it..and it asked me for a reading so I stuck the stick in the monitor and it said I was at LOW fertility (not a peak) even though the stick had two very bold lines (which means I am ovulating). Why would the fertility monitor say this when I KNOW i am ovulating.

Femara and Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor

I am on CD 13 and this is my first cycle using the fertility monitor. I found the OPK's too confusing and expensive =). This is my 2nd cycle on femara. Will the medicine affect the results of the monitor? I have not gotten anything but low fertility on my monitor and the monitor has been asking me to test since day 5. Is this okay? I think I usually ovulate around CD 17 so when would I start getting more bars on my monitor?

Should I continue with Clomid?

Hi! AF just reared her ugly head, so here is my prpblem. I have used Clomid for 2 cycles, yes I know, not very long. I am also using Clearblue Easy Fertility monitor and I've read that using Clomid can alter your readings. I have also read that Clomid can dry up cervical fluid. Last month we used Pre-seed an I also took Mucinex 200mg 3x daily. I am wondering if I should continue with Clomid, discontinue use, or see if I need to up the dose to 100mg, OR change the days I take it to CD5-9. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We've been TTC a year and have gone thru 2 miscarriages. Thanks for your time.
