Femara and Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor

I am on CD 13 and this is my first cycle using the fertility monitor. I found the OPK's too confusing and expensive =). This is my 2nd cycle on femara. Will the medicine affect the results of the monitor? I have not gotten anything but low fertility on my monitor and the monitor has been asking me to test since day 5. Is this okay? I think I usually ovulate around CD 17 so when would I start getting more bars on my monitor?

Should I continue with Clomid?

Hi! AF just reared her ugly head, so here is my prpblem. I have used Clomid for 2 cycles, yes I know, not very long. I am also using Clearblue Easy Fertility monitor and I've read that using Clomid can alter your readings. I have also read that Clomid can dry up cervical fluid. Last month we used Pre-seed an I also took Mucinex 200mg 3x daily. I am wondering if I should continue with Clomid, discontinue use, or see if I need to up the dose to 100mg, OR change the days I take it to CD5-9. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We've been TTC a year and have gone thru 2 miscarriages. Thanks for your time.

I got 2 lines!!!!

I think i'm preggo! I had 3 positive pregnancy tests. I should be SURE I am ,lol

I think I figured out a way that will boost your chances.

It will take A LOT of work though.

I did all of the following.. all at the same time

First of all...I used the Clearblue Fertility Monitor.

I also used the 'Sperm Meets Egg' plan

And after we'd BD, I would quickly put a pillow under my butt and put my legs all the way up on the headboard.

I also used the fertilityfriend.com chart recording my bbt and signs.

It was a lot of work...but it worked for me!!! So why not try it, right?

Gooood luckk everybody and baby dust to all!

Fertility monitor

My last LMP was 8-6-08, and thats when I started to use the fertility monitor. I never got a peak reading, but had many high readings and bd'd at that time. After about 2 weeks I started to become very tired all the time, acne, bloating, nauseated every once in awhile. When my periods are normal they are about 32 days apart and heavy. Well I brown spotted from 9-9-08 til 9-13-08. So I put that into my monitor as my period even though I have never had spotting like that before. When the monitor asked me to use test sticks I got peak days for 2 days right away so i took a pregnancy test but it was negative. What is going on why is the monitor giving peaks already and could I be pregnant

TTC

Hi I am Dee. This will be month #2 TTC using at home artificial insemination. We have the Clearblue Easy Fertility MOnitor and also use OPK's in addition. Last month, we inseminated on both of my peak days...the monitor gave me the two peak readings. But we did not get pregnant. Is there a better time to inseminate? Thank you.

Clearblue Monitor Accuracy

Been trying to conceive for about 10 months now with no luck and I have a couple questions about the CB Fertility Monitor. This is my 1st month using Monitor. Yesterday on CD 13 I got a high reading. Today CD 14 I got Peak reading. Is it normal to have only 1 day of a high reading, then go right to peak next day?

Also, the indicator window on the test strip, does this function like standard OPK's? I know monitor tests for 2 hormones not just 1 like standard OPK. I guess my question is I saw 1 dark line on CD13 & CD14, OPK's have the 2 lines. How do I know my tests are conclusive or accurate? It can't be possible to get a false reading on these?

I also am in doubt about how often we should have intercourse. People say different things, every other day, some say every day you get high or peak reading. Feedback appreciated! Thanks! : )

mcbaby7 - come on baby!!

Im on CD 14 (according to my monitor) but really i started the night before. Im still getting a low fertility reading. My cycles vay from 30-41 days and i only went to 41 days ONE month. On average they are 36 days. Well i was wondering the following.. (who have used the monitor).

1. How many high fertility bars did u usually get before a peak day?

2. When do u think i will start to get a high bar givin my cycle days?

3.
TTC using clearplan fertility monior

If I become pregnant without knowing while using the Clearblue fertility monitor will it affect the results of the ovulation results? This is my first month using the monitor and I have had High fertility levels since day 6 of this cycle...it is now day 10. You may think this is too early to ovulate but I will give you a bit more history...

I have been trying to conceive for a full year; on May 16 I started having light bleeding (started on day 24 of that cycle). The bleeding lasted up until my regular period came (June 2). My regular period was very heavy but very late (40 days after my last "normal" period).

The heavy bleeding lasted 9 days (June 10). After that there was no blood for 12 days then on June 22 (day 21 since first day of heavy bleeding) I started a period again. So I counted that as day one and started using the Clearblue fertility monitor. So I am so confused as to what day I am truly on and what is going on with my body.

I have been tracking my cycles for the past year and they range from 21 days to 44 days.

Femara & Fertility Monitor

Will I be able to use my fertility monitor during my femara cycle? Would it be better to use OPK instead? Also, what days should i start having intercourse - every day or every other day? I start femara cd 3-7 and I want to make sure that it is out of my system before I start intercourse. I ovulated at CD 17 with Clomid for 2 rounds and then last round on CD23. What should I expect from 2.5 of femara?
