i recently had abichemical pergnancy or miscarriage amonth ago. the levels halved suddenly then slowed and have now stopped decreasing at about 121. I have been bleeding ever since with 4 days last week with very heavy bleeding which is now back to alight bleeing. I had TVS scan when it happened and they said the uterus was empty. Today I had more pain and thts when i had the levels back. They said it would either be an eptopic pregnancy, retained products or even a new pregnancy. Im so confused. help. ni just want too get back to normal and try for another baby.

trying to concieve after miscarriage and prevera

I am 19 years old and my husband and I are currently ttc. i had a misscarriage in july at 6 weeks and didn't get my period for two months. My dr put me on prevera which gave me a period a few days after stopping it. I am just wondering if it is likely I'll get pregnant this first month. I'm wondering if it happens commonly. Thankyou

Tubal Reversal

I had a tubal reversal in Oct. 2006. I was told each tube was only 1cm in length after surgery, and pregnancy would be very difficultHowever, after 2 months of trying, I was pregnant and in October 2007 had a healthy baby girl. On Sept 2008 I found out I was pregnant again, but at 5 weeks, I have misscarried. I am wondering if it was just luck that I had a healthy baby after the reversal, am I suseptible to misscarriage with such short tubal lengths.

Blocked tubes.

I am having surgery in two weeks to check if my tubes are blocked and i am getting worried. I had endo 5 years ago and have had a few laperoscopys over the years. I fell pregnant 12 mths ago and had a missed misscarriage at 13 wks. Now have been trying again for 3 mths with no luck, what are the chances that my tubes are blocked? Can doctors tell when doing a d&c cos my last d&c was 26th of nov 07 and doc said all my reproductive organs were fine. I just so want good news. Also if i have had an infection what kind of symptoms would i have. My feb and march cycle i had bleeding mid month round ovulation, havnt had it since. Cycles are regular. Please ease my mind......

i will be keeping you in my prayers, and hope lots of sticky glue and baby dust on the next one. you might want to ask your doctor to check for thrombophilia, adn other related test. Dr.Q gave me that advice. it is a recurrent misscarriage test.

Ive never had a miscarriage before, so have little idea as to what is going on and what has happened!

Changes of a New Successful Pregnancy

I am trying to conceive my second child but am worried about my chances of misscarraige. I'm concerned is because I had my first diagnosed miscarriage in January and think I may be pregnant now, although I have not taken a pregnancy test yet. Please bear with me, but I've written a lot of information below in the hopes that some of it may be useful in answering my question.

I am an almost 32-year-old mother of a 4-year-old girl. Despite the fact that I have had irregular periods (usually much shorter than average cycles) from the time I began menstruating, when my husband and I decided to start a family, I stopped taking birth control pills (which I starting taking to regulate my periods when I was 16) and we conceived her almost immediately. When I found out I was pregnant with her, I had some brief spotting and was told my HCG levels were somewhat low. Upon receiving the results of my second HCG test, my OBGYN informed me that the the levels were increasing, albiet not as fast as they would normally like to see. Neverthess, with no special recommendations from my DR, I carried her to 39 weeks and she was born extremely health.

Last year my husband and I decided to try for a second child so I stopped taking my BC pill in May and we began trying in August. After stopping the pill, my periods resumed their usual irregular schedules and on 12/24/07, I got what I thought was my period. Although my flow became lighter, I continued bleeding into January. Eventually, I got concerned about this and called my OBGYN on January 6, 2008. I was surprised to learn that I was actually pregnant, but devastated when he told me on 1/8/08 that my HCG count was only 74 and he suspected a misscarriage. Sure enough, 2 days later a second blood test confirmed that my HCG levels dropped by half and that I was indeed experiencing a misscarriage.

Later that month, my doctor confirmed that the misscarriage was complete and he instructed me to wait 2 natural cycles before staring to try again. I began trying again in March and think I may be pregant again. Although it has been 2 weeks since my suspected date of ovulation and I have thankfully not experienced any bleeding this time, I am almost scared to confirm these results with either a urine or blood test.

Does it appear that I am at risk for another misscarriage, and if so, is there anything I can do to improve the odds?
