Blood clots during cycle.

Hi, since being on this website I have learned that blood clots can cause problems. I never really realized that I had them as I thought it was just the way the lining shed. I have blood clots that range from pea to marble sized.

I also have long cycles with long AF. For example I am still spotting today on CD8.

Is this something I need to be worried about and discuss with my doctor? I have been TTC for 14 months now with no luck.

average age to get AF?

My daughter will be turning 12 in a few weeks and i could have sworn she was gonna have AF a few months ago.

She has tons of hair "down there", has to shave her arm pits and legs, has been wearing a bra for the last year cuz its needed (they are far from huge but little buds and nipple) and moody as ever! One second she is a cute little angel and the next min she is moody, and being difficult. She is a good kid so even her "bad" times are easier than other kids good times. But she gets very difficult, nothing is good enough and cries at the drop of a hat during those time. soooo......

how old we you all or your daughters when they got AF for the 1st time. I was old, i was in 8th grade, later in the year, i was in Disney with my mom and new step dad.... what a freekin treat i musta been! LOL!

Could I be pregnant?

I'm 23 years old. I have been ttc for 10 months now. Today is day 43 of my cycle and still haven't had a period. I took 2 pregnancy tests this week including 1 today in the mornin. Both neg. The past 2 months my cycle lenths were 34 & 37 days long. My husband and I baby danced from day 15-22 of my cycle this month. The only preg symptoms I could say I have had were: mild cramps and a bad headache for 1 day about 2 weeks ago...and this week I noticed my breasts felt firmer and heavier but not sore and no other symptoms. I don't want to stress over this becuz it could all be in my head. What advice can you give me? I would really appreciate it.

Is this my period or what?

Ok yesterday I got really excited, because I thought I had started my period. Let me first say, I have PCOS, I normally do not get my period unless I take provera. HOWEVER this past month I didnt take the provera just to see if I did happen to get it on my own. I have been taking metformin, so just wanted to see what would happen. Well on CD 57 which was yesterday I noticed a light flow like when I (wiped) sorry tmi. I mean it was a light brown. Ok it was like that for the most the evening. NOW, I hardly have anything. I mean I have little "clots" (sorry again) so to speak, but really n othing else showing on the toilet tissue. So have I started or havent I? And is this normal? I am asking because I am supposed to start my clomid on day 2, which woudl be today, but if this isnt really my period, then I dont know if I should start it or not> HELP ME!! I got so excited, because I havent had a cycle on my own since 2002, so I thought maybe finally this metformin is helping me. So just let me know what you think please. Thanks! Or if anyone else has went through this, let me know what it is. thanks again!

Pcos and long menstruation?

I have pcos and I didn't have my period for 3 months .. I started it finally about 12 days ago, and it started as a light flow for about 8 days which I thought was weird.. no clots or anything.. then over the past 4 days it's become heavier and I have been having clots and cramps almost like a normal period but very long! like the light days were longer the heavier days were longer...

why would this happen? I know women who have pcos too and the ones that bleed for long periods of time usually just have spotty type or light bleeding the whole time.

why is mine getting worse? does this mean it will go away?

I am afraid of bleeding for months :(

I have a fertility specialist appointment in 5 days I wanted to be done my period by then!

Cycle changes after HSG

Dr. Q,

I had my HSG performed on 10/22 at CD10. I bled for four (4) days and bled like I was on another period. I was wondering if having an HSG performed can mess up your cycle, thus making 10/22 my new CD1? If so, should I start to calculate my fertile days to start from that day? I was supposed to be in my fertile days 1-4 starting on 10/24, and have yet to have any signs as I usually do (sore breasts, cramps, increased temp, etc,.) So....should I start a new configuration for my fertile days starting after 10/22, which would be 11/02 (CD12)? Thanks for your advice. I greatly appreciate it.
