Delayed Menstrual After 2 failed IUI's

Can your menstrual cycle be delayed the month after you stop taking drugs for infertility? I was taking Menopur and Ovidrel for trigger. I am currently on CD 28 and have never made it past 26 without at least spotting. I took 2 HPT and they are negative. Is my menstrual somehow thrown off because I didnt' do any form of fertility treatments this month?

Clomid and menstrual cycles.

This is my 6th month of Clomid and for the past 3 months when I've gotten my period it hasn't been an actual bleed, (I'm sorry if tmi, I don't know who else to ask) it's only been brown spotting. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

I've talked to my dr. about it and he doesn't seem concerned, but I am.

My Dr. upped this dose to 150mg. The past 3 months it was 100mg and the first 2 months it was 50mg.

Thank you!!

true or false

if you have an irregular cycle, you could have another egg released from your ovaries while you are still having your period. That egg could get fertilized in the fallopian tubes, and enter the uterus after your period ends. It would then implant, and then you'd be pregnant.

Measuring pregnancy in weeks...

So I didn't know that technically your time pregnant isn't determined upon the time SINCE the fertilization, but instead the time since the FIRST day of your last menstrual cycle.

So *don't laugh* if you knew that! ha!

So here's my question...the FIRST day of my last menstrual cycle was September 26th.

I had my IUI done on October 10th.

So if I AM pregnant, does that mean that I am actually 4 weeks pregnant, not 2???

That doesn't make much sense to me. Help?!?!

migrains

Dr.Q,

Don't know if my last post went through. I have menstral migrains. I have been taking Yaz birth control pill for about 2 years. Just in the last 2 or 3 months the migraines have lessened. I'm not complaining but could this be a sign all will not be well when I start to conceive? Is this a sign that I'm running out of eggs? Also my dr. put me on Frova for the headaches. Have only had to take one. Could this cause one to have trouble conceiving like Imitrex?

Dr. Q,

I was also wondering why my menstral headaches have lessened the past few months. Does this indicate that my hormones have quit working like they used to and that I may be having issues that could affect my fertility? I am 27.

menstral cramps and ovulation

Dr.Q, I had mild menstral cramps the day I started my period. I read on another web site that mild cramps on the first day of a period signaled that this was an ovulatory cycle. Is this true?

Dr Q... Ladies... Spotting question after laporscopy, hysteroscopy, and d&c

Hello. I have a question. I had a laporoscopy, hysteroscopy, d&c (d&c not due to a m/c) and dye study 8 days ago (last Tuesday). My regular menstrual cycle is due Aug 1. They told me I may start earlier or later. I need to contact my dr office when I start because i need to have another dye study between cycle day 5-10 (both tubes were blocked at time of surgery, blockages were removed, and am having another dye study to see if it was successful). I spotted the first day after surgery then nothing since. Yesterday I started having af cramps and started spotting brown blood. Today I still have cramps but the spotting has turned to bright red but is VERY light like spotting. I don't know if this is AF but just really light and early or not. I need to know because I need to have the dye study scheduled. WHat do you think? Thanks!

Irregular Menstrual Cycles

I am 30 years old I have two children. My problem is I only have 1 or maybe 2 menstrual cycles per year. I have been tested for PCOS and Diabetes. I have also had my thyroid tested. All tests are normal. We really want to have more children in the near future, but have had no luck getting pregnant the last 3 years. WHAT else could be wrong with me?? My dr's are all stumped!

Prolonged Bleeding???

Dr. Q, after taking 5 rounds of clomid I skipped Af for a month and finally started on April 25. Here it is 5 weeks later and I'm still bleeding. It ranges throughout the day from spotting to heavy flow. After spotting for the past 2 days I suddenly noticed a very heavy flow and passed a clot larger than a quarter. I've also been very fatigued and am starting to get worried. We don't have insurance right now and I can't run to the Dr unless I'm sure I need to go. Do you think I should be concerned? What are some common causes for a prolonged menses like this?

Am I ovulating???

I have a 28 day exact cycle for three years now. Generally I see my mucus each month and it's a lot so it can't be missed. However I buy the clearblue ovualtion digital test and never have seen a smiley face. What gives? Am I ovulating if I get a cycle every month? I had a tubal reversal in August of 2004 and am just starting to try to get pregnant and am real curious to why I never have seen a smiley face on that testing device. Is something wrong with me?

After an ectopic and menstrual cycle

I'll do my best to keep this short so that I don't rant and rave. :)

Since I started my period at 15, I have always been 'normal' with my cycle. I had light periods; not a lot of cramping.

I had an ectopic pregnancy in October 2006, resulting in the removal of my left tube. I missed the month of November(which I expected) then had two periods in December and January(2007). Then I didn't have a period from February till July, I believe.

When I finally did get the period in July, it was the most painful period I have ever had, along with heavy bleeding. It's been over a year since the surgery and I have yet to be 'normal' again.

Is this how it is going to be for the rest of my life?

This entire ectopic pregnancy experience, along with the OB/GYN's I met with has been terrible for me. I'm sure I'll understand why I had to go through it one day, but I seriously begin to have anxiety thinking about going to see another GYN or OB.

My husband suggested going to see a therapist(he would since he is in school for that). I should be starting next week. This is not me! It's so frustrating.

There I go ranting and raving. Any advice is welcomed.

Thank you in advance.
