I have a question. When is the soonest that anyone has produced mature follicles. My first cycle where I conceived the twins was 10 days at 112.5 iu Gonal F. Now, I am on 112.5 iu Gonal F plus Menopur. On am on CD 7-treatment day 5. I have just went to the bathroom and have EWCV. I am nervous. The doc told me to schedule for Friday or Saturday. I just don't want to miss this. How much impact do you think the Menopur will have? Thanks in advance.

I have one and half year married life and try to conceive.Before six month i have done hysteroscopy,in that doctor removed septum from uterous.

Now I am checking for ovulation,periods are regular,but ovulation is not happening.When my follical becomes mature,it does not released and form a cyst(size greater than 27mm to 33mm).Hormons like TSH,FSH,PROLACTINE are normal.Your kind suggestion please.

I'm Tia from New York, I'm 30 years young & my husband is 32. My husband and I have been married for 1 year and 2 months. we have been tying to have a baby for 4 months. I was on Clomiphene for 5 days starting from September 18th - the 22nd 2008. My Dr. saw 2 mature eggs sept, 29th Monday, @ 10:30 that night my hubby gave me the trigger Ovidrel shot & October 1st Wednesday 2008 10:15am sperm washing & 11am I did the IUI. This is where my journey starts :.)

today is my 13 cd and i was go for u/s and c three mature follicle 1 in right n 2 is in left side they all are 17 20 n 22 mm today at 9 pm i will go for hcg shot n after tht iui it is my second iui i want to know tht for me pre ovulation iui or post ovulation iui which will better . n plz give me sugg soon.

I was told that soy isoflavones is kinda like Clomid but the natural version. Then I was told it was not.

So if soy doesnt help mature my eggs. Once I've taken my Clomid what can i take to mature my eggs?

Im currently doing Clomid 100mg CD2-6, taking Geritol, Fertility blend, prenatal, evening primrose oil, folic acid, red raspberry leaf tea and baby aspirin. Also taking Robitussin for CM. Once I ovulate Im going to take Progesterone Cream.

Does you have any other sugestions? This is my 5th round of clomid. My RE wants to do injectables but since we cnt afford it right now, im trying anything thats natural meanwhile.

Yes, the possibility of sextuplets exists..albeit low and much depends on your fertility factors and what kind of stimulation used...

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME ON CLOMID (I USED THE GENERIC) AND I WAS ON 50MG DAYS 3-7, I RESPONDED REALLY WELL! SO HE SAID HE WANTS TO TRY ME ON 25MG 3-7 NEXT MONTH TO SEE HOW I RESPOND CAUSE I RESPONDED TO WELL TO 50MG'S!

THIS MORNING I GOT A POSITIVE OPKS TEST SO DOES THAT MEAN ALL THOSE FOLLICLES (6-7) WILL RUPTURE IN THE NEXT 24-36HOURS?

AND 3 OF THOSE MEASURED 23, 25 & 28 AREN'T THOSE TOO BIG TO BE FERTILIZED?

Can clomid help make a better egg?

Can it help you to make a better quality egg of just make you produce mature eggs to release? I ovulate on my own and am 33, my eggs after IVF retrieval were not all that wonderful but not terrible either so im just wondering if the clomid will help to make better eggs or just make more to choose from?

Hi Dr Q or Dr Littman, wondered if you could clarify something. In a recent post by Jilly titled "Give it to me in a nutshell please", Dr Littman gave some advise that confused both myself and Jilly. It was suggested that our eggs may not be good ones because we have long cycles, and that clomid may mature the eggs. My understanding is that clomid does not mature the egg, but just stimulates ovulation. Can you please clarify this. Many thanks.

Hi there i have just started my first round of clomid and had my first ultrasound on day 11 of my cycle, i had 3 follicles but the obgyn said they are not mature enough they were only 10mm what does this mean? I have to go back tonight for another ultra sound would they have grown that much over night? Are they going to grow and will I ovulate?

I had a u/s done on cd12 and I had a 16mm on my left and two on my right, the leading being 13mm. I know they grow 1-2mm a day and today is cd15 and I have a +opk. Do you think that the 16mm and 13mm are big enough and what size do they have to be?

I went in for my U/S today I am on CD12 and I had three follies Left side 25.5 and Right side 15.9 & 11.1 I was reading some of the other post and it said that the follies grow 1 and a half mm a day. O K what if my follie that is 25.5 is too big then what??? Can you please Explain this to me...........

According to FF.com I should O between Sat CD 14 and Tue CD 17 What does that mean for my follies???

Please tell me something!!!!!!

Hi! I went for an u/s on friday and the dr said i have 4 mature follicles. I believe the numbers she gave was 9, 11, 12, 12. I have to go in tomorrow for monitoring. I took an OPK today and it came out negative. Shouldn't i be ovulating? I'm so worried it won't work =( ttc for > 1 year.

Any thoughts?

if you take clomid late in your cycle 5-9 or similar and you ovulate early is that bad. meaning that the meds didnt have time to mature the follicles?

And if you ovulate later does that have a more promising effect that the meds had time to mature the follicles..

Hi,

I just returned from the fertility center and wanted some information clarified. The doctor did an ultrasound and found about 8 mature follicles. This is my third month on clomid and was told the chance of multiples was only 10%. He suggested backing off for this month and see what happens. I got a positive ovulation test yesterday and babydanced last night. The doctor also told me that in his 15-20 years of work he has only seen clomid triplets twice. Do you think it is likely that I will release more than one of those mature eggs? I don't want to give up on this cycle, but I don't want 8 babies

Hi, I am new here so forgive me for not getting all the abbrevations yet =) Anyway, I have PCOS, Im 33 yrs old and have been on Clomid for 2 months my first month was 100 mg days 5-9 last month 150 mg days 5-9 and this coming up month 150 mg days 2-8.... My Dr done a vaginal follicle exam and said i had produced 2 but they weren't matue... is it possible they can mature on their own? The first month I didnt produce anything, so I was excited that i had produced two this last time , eventhough there weren't but 2 and not mature...

Clomid and four mature follicles

I am 30.I took clomid(100 mg) from CD3 to CD7 and on CD 13(today). I had 4 follicles of 17,16,16 mm on one side,15 mm on other side on CD12.we were planning to do regular intercourse after hcg shot. But my RE suggests that it may result in multiple pregnancies and its our choice to try it at our own risk or not trying this cycle. Im not going for further u/s this cycle and have to get a hcg shot tomorrow(If we choose to). I had success with clomid(100 mg) with one follicle and HCG shot last time and we have a baby. Has anyone ever had these many follicles and ultimately have one egg and succesful pregnancy? As I believe having singleton would be a healthy and succesful pregnancy. I need your experience to try or not to try this cycle. Thanks.
