My lining was 6mm 9dpo. I am pregnant and have another u/s tomorrow (15dpo). If my lining is still thin, is there anything that can help me from potentially miscarrying?

THANKS!

Here we go again-ready for #2

Hi everyone,

I wish I had found this site when I was ttc #1. I am 32 years old and I have one ds who is 8 months old. When trying to conceive him my dh and I had 3 IUI's -1 clomid, 2 injectables all unsuccessful. Then while waiting for IVF to begin I got pregnant naturally. My dh has a good sperm count and motility but just before we conceived ds his morph was only 4%. I also have a short luteal phase (10 days) and borderline lining 7mm. We are now ready to TTC #2. Before ds I had cycles between 22-31 days as my R ovary ovulated on day 12 and L on day 21. My last 3 cycles have been around 32 days and very light bleeding. We haven't been using any birth control but no success yet. I am still breastfeeding so I am not sure if I am ovulating yet. I think we are going to try on our own for awile and see if we can get pregnant on our own. Looking forward to getting to know all of you better.

thin lining can anything be done to help?

During U/S today nurse told me that my lining was a little thin but I didn't ask for any numbers, silly me!! Then when I spoke to the dr. forgot to ask. I took clomid so I'm sure that was one of the reasons. Can anything be done to help with this, maybe thicken the lining? I am taking a baby asprin each day. THANKS!!

Follicle Measurements?

I just saw my RE today and here are the results: uterine lining is 10, no eggs on the left side, the right has a few little eggs and one that measures 12x12x10. (What exactly do these measurements mean? And what size does the egg have to be upon ovulation?) I was told to come in this friday to see if the egg increased in size and to bring my ovidrel shot with me just in case. Oh...I forgot...I'm 40, TTC # 2, only right tube open, I'm on Follistim (300) since day 3) and getting ready for 2nd IUI. I'm starting to think that I should have listened to my RE and went IVF from the start. Any opinions or comments would be helpful before going for IUI # 3.

Can a D&C have adverse effects on your uterine lining longterm?

Just something I was wondering about as I remember my Dr telling me after my D&C that one of the reasons he wanted us to wait the 4 months before TTC again was due to the lining being too thin/needing to heal. Does that mean that the lining will thicken back up as needed?

clomid and lining of uterus

The first time round I got pregnant since the first round of clomid. this time I took it 2 months in a row and then had a break since my hubby was away and i took it back this month. My concern is that I have 2 doctors one is back home and one in the country where my hubby works. One of them told me there are basically no potential risks with clomid and the other one blasted at me that I shouldn't get in the way of nature and that clomid can make the lining of my uterus bad and cause infertility. Please help.

Thick Uterus Lining

Okay so I had a baby 7 months ago and then when he was 6 weeks I had the IUD put in. After 4 months of having the IUD in I had some problems and had it removed. Since then which was July 18 2008 I have not had period. So I have been taking pregnancy test and I had one that said yes so I made an appointment with my doctor and we went in thinking it was to conferm pregnancy. After being in the office he did not have me do a urine test he just did an ultrasound test told me my uterus lining was think and I was ovulating but it looked as if I am not pregnant because there was no sac. So problem is here that I don't know whats wrong and it feels as if my doctor just brushed it off. I have never had the problem of not ovulating before. If someone can please help me.

Short AF = thin lining?

Is that necessarily true Dr Q? I was just thinking about it this morning and before I had kids I had the worst, longer, painful periods and after the kids I now have 2-3 day periods and the only day that I actually can wear a tampon is the 1st full flow and the other days are too light to wear one.

Does that mean that I have thin lining? I took baby aspirin last month along with clomid but will be taking 100mg this month and will take the aspirin again.

DR. Q or DR. EVA...Question about follicle size & endometrial lining

I have PCOS and This is my third cycle of Clomid and I went in for my ultrasound today. I have one folly on each ovary. One on the right is 16mm and one on the left is 15mm. Last month my follicles regressed and did not respond to 50 mg of clomid. this cycle I took 150mg and at cd 11, follicle size seems ok. Do you think I will regress again? additionally, today my endometrial lining measured 4.7mm. That doesn't sound very good. Is that going to hinder my chance of getting pregnant this month? What do you think?

Uterine Lining while taking Clomid

My doc prescribed Clomid for me to take whenever I am ready on CD5-9. I have heard that Clomid messes with the lining of the uterus. I forgot to ask if there is anything I can take to help with the lining when I take Clomid. Is there anything over the counter I can take to help with it?

FYI, normally I ovulate on my own but the past 2 cycles I have not. I do not have PCOS. My doc is trying Clomid to give me a boost and to get me back on track.

Dr Q,Can fallopian tube TB result in unilateral hydrosalpinx? My endometrial lining was 6.5mm in my last ultrasound. Is it normal? With fertility treatments will my lining improve? Can a laproscopic examination tell the difference between hydrosalpinx and fallopian tube cysts? Sorry for so many questions. This ertility journey is very tough and thanks for this wonderful site for helping us all.
