15DPO faint positive but spotting?

I am currently 15DPO and got 2 faint positives on HPTs (dollar store brand) and have been spotting for 3 days now. Should I just assume that maybe they are evaps and that my period will be starting soon? My husband did use one of the HPTs to see if maybe they were faulty and he didn't get one hint of a line. I am also having fertile mucus again and no sign of my normal period (I never spot, it just comes on full force). I am currently breastfeeding and this is only my second cycle since getting first post partum period. I am temping and using OPKs and know I Oed on cycle day 10 or 11 (October 24th or 25th). I have two daughters, but I don't remember anything like this with them.

hi dr, it madlin again sorry for giving you hard time, today i'm on 11dpo ivf cycle, and last night i had hpt and strat away showed me only one line so i went out in tears and left the test in the bathroom(i only looked at it once quik) and after while i went back to put it in the bin then i notice very very very faint second line which i assume its that from the test beeing standing so long and its not positive, i wasn't planing to do any more till tommorow but my husband said just try anther one which was by 10 am i mean not first thing in the morning, i went to the bathroom and i held the test in my hand(sorry lots of details) but after one second of staring wee on the test as this one stream test you hold the test under your urine while passing, anyway after lestt then 2 seconds i stop and there was no more water inside my to come out, i thought the test don't wrong as the was not much stream not much fluid coming out and in less then 3 min the line come out clear ( i mean two lines) so i didn't belive my eyes, and in less then 30 min i went to do anther one to make sure its really positive but this one come out with one very very clear line and one very faint line you hardly to see but you can see it, what that could be could i be pregnant or this would be wrong?? note when i had the 9dpo test it came only one line no other faint lines at all, please help

Hi Dr. Q,

I am posting this question for Kellie. Kellie has just had a miscarriage last week. Today she went to the hospital for a vag ultrasound. The ultrasound tech informed her that her uterus line is wavy and thicker and gray in color. Can you please give us your input as to what that might mean? Unfortunately Kellie will not be able to hear back from the Doctor until Monday. So she needs some type of relief since we are going into the weekend. Thanks!!!!

Ladies if you know what that might mean also, please respond.

What do you think is this a bfp or evaporation line?

I took this 9/24 & 2 more that day were bfn & then took 2 more hpts 9/25 & were bfn,I tested today again & I got another bfn today w/fmu...ugh..idk what's going on! Why would I get 1 bfp & 5 bfn?! Does anyone know? If I had my af on time I'd be due for af Sat or Sun I had a missed m/c & d&c to remove on 8/25, I bled for 19days after d&C & ob thinks was af back to back w/d&c bleeding. Had beta done on 9/8 & 9/10 nurse called & told me levels were back down to normal. So what does it mean if you get a bfp & then 5 bfn? Please answer...I'm so confused!!

i took this test this morning. the line showed up within the three minutes. i have two pictures what would you say? positive or negative?

i did two pictures one with the cover on and one with the cover off to see it clearly.

My last af was on July 26th.I'm on 100mg clomid.My blood work came out to b 89.6 I had a bad cramping on 9th Aug. so i guess i ovulated on 9th.And that makes it 13Dpo today.I did 2 tests today morning.it was a faint line.(see the pic).A faint line is still a line right? I can't go to the Hospital until i miss my AF.Do u think i should tell them abt this and request for a blood work?? Will it show up even though its way too early??

I figured I would do this post as a line up of pregnancy bellies. Its neat to see from the begining to further on, how they grow, even mommies now can post there line ups so everyone can see! Its just neat to look at!

Ok here it goes! Im currently 25weeks 4days pregnant today, with a baby boy named Noah Austin Thigpen and so far as of early this week only gained 6 pounds, but I feel next time I go that will go up to 10 or more...hehe!

I took a PT yesterday at about 6:30pm. and after waiting for 1 minute and not seeing anything show up, I threw it away. Later on, around 10:30, (after continous naseua, and light spotting,) I decided to pull it out and take a closer look just to be sure. Well guess what....there was a dark line and an additional very faint (but visible) line. I've always heard that even if it isn't dark, it may be because it's so early in the pregnancy, but that it's still a positive....Can someone clarify this for me? Is there anyway I can find out soon if my DR will agree to do blood test on me?

Dr.Q I did a HPT and it had a light + sign but then thedown line then after about 10 sec faded away.so what do you think that means?

Hi everyone,

I took a CVS brand hpt a few days ago and after about 5 minutes got a faint blue line. In about 20 mins. the test looked as it had two lines with nothing in the middle (see below). I am not sure that this really is a positive result. I think this could just be an evaporation line. Any opinions? Thanks in advance

hey there, i really need your help, cause im very stress.

On June 23 i had the Pregnyl 10000, in the afternoon. At July 2 i did a pregnancy test with an extremely very very faint line. Actually it looked like an extinct pencil line. The same thing happend and the 2 following days, July 3 and July 4. So what is really happening here. Is it possible that pregnyl hormone is still in my system? Has anyone faced that before?

Dr. Q, please i need your advice.

Today is been 9 days since my last Pregnyl (10000)and 9 days past ovulation.

In the morning i did a pregnancy test which shown an extremely faint line. You should try very hard in order to see it, but it was there. I compare that test with another negative test that i had and im sure that this one looks different.

So is this pregnancy or just a false positive result from pregnyl injection?

any 2 lines weather its faint or dark means:

Hi all,

I'm losing my marbles. I tested this morning with FRER (I'm around 12 dpo). I tested first thing this morning, saw that it was - then threw it away. Of course later I fished it out to take a 2nd look and there was a VERY faint line. So, I'm thinking it's an evaporation line since it had been 1-2 hours since I tested. Just in case I decided to POAS again (not w/1st morning urine) and again a VERY faint line appeared but within a few minutes. I can't tell if it's grey or pink (you have to really squint) but I swear there's something. Can evap lines show up even if you are within the alloted time?

Has anyone used the pregnancy tests from there? I ordered ten of them and took one yesterday 9dpo and negative, one this am and the faintest of faint lines so I couldn't help myself and tested again this afternoon, the second line was still faint but a little darker than this mornings. Anyone had this happen before or any reviews on these tests.

Dollar General Store HPT ?

Good-morning, I have a big QUESTON how accurate are the Dollar General Store test. I took one this am and I have a faint line I don't think that it is an evap line b/c it came up as soon as the peepe went acros but it faint. Could I be? I cant get a clear pic of it my camera sucks. But I had a friend look at it and she said that it is a BFP my DH said that there was something there and to weight to see if AF show she was soapiesto be hear a couple of days ago, keep me in your prayers that it is. I have been getting sick to my stomach thanks

Hey ladies... I took a Target Brand Early Result HPT just for the heck of it on Saturday (only CD 17).

I thought I saw something in the test line section, but when I looked back within the time frame, I couldn't see anything, so I threw it away (I expected it to be negative). I went back and looked at it later (I know, bad choice) and there was a second line, blue, and visable... light, but visable!

I have never had an evap line before, but does this sound like a positive or an evap? I'll post a picture in a few minutes to see if you can see it...

I wake up sick this morning and was sick so I tested and there was only one line. I cried so much. I'm not due til the 15th could that change. my fingers are crossed. Also i having a sharp pain in the mid right side of my back any body know what that is?
