progesterone levels

I was suppose to get my blood taken to have progesterone, and other levels taken. The form said to have it done from 8/22-8/25. I started my last cycle at 9:45 PM on 8/3. Can you tell me if I can still get the test done?

Prolactin question for one of the docs...

I've known I've had elevated prolactin levels for 3 years now (misdiagnosed as PCOS about 5 years ago. Anywho.

Before conceiving my daughter, I was on bromocriptine and levels were well managed and regular menses returned (prior to this, I had 3-4 periods/year). I breastfed my daughter for 7 1/2 months... had and oversupply and therefore had enough milk stored thru 14 months.

After BF, bromocriptine dose tripled from before Mia and still no return of menses and horrible side effects set in. I was switched to cabergoline (dose landed at 2 pills, twice per week), which brought results... levels regularly under 8 and menses returned, and ovulation was detectable thru OPK's. But not pregnancy. I thought that since we conceived within 3 cycles after being put on bromo.

Here's my question: Why do I still leak? I have milk in both breasts and haven't pumped/BF in at least 17 months and do not do any nipple stimulation. Prolactin level is normal, periods are regular. It's definitely milk, not colostrum. I do have large breasts (G cup), if that makes any difference.

Your thoughts please? Should I be pursuing this issue further with my pitutary endo? I'm doing fertility treatment with my OB/GYN since RE appointments are nearly 2 months out at this point.

Progestrone Level

I Had IVF on Sunday Aug.10, and went for a blood test on Aug 18. They said my estrogen level 326 but they did not tell me my progestrone level, except they said it was low. Would this tell me that I am not pregnant or is it still too early?

Progesterone Levels

I am confused. I have been trying to get pregnant for about 7 months now with no luck. I had my prog. levels checked on day 23 of my cycle. I have long cycles...usually 34-35 days. My Dr. called me and said that my levels were at 3, but that he is not worried yet b/c he thinks we may have done the test too soon? I am pretty sure I ovulate anywhere from day 18-20. Does that make sense? I'm not sure exactly when the tests are suppose to be done, and I can't get back in touch with him very easy.

What is pregnant and what is not

If you are getting BFPs on repeated HPTs (5 so far) and your first blood draw (at 13 DPO)came back with an HCG level of 5 and a second draw (at 14 DPO) came back at 9 only 24 hours later it seems the numbers ARE rising, how can one be told "you're not pregnant".

I have always read that anything from less than zero all the way up to 4 was NOT pregnant and anything 5 and up WAS pregnant. AND the numbers are rising.

fsh counts

Hi. I got an day 3 fsh level that came back at 10. I took clomid on cd 5 thru 9. I got an hsg done on cd 9 which showed my tubes were blocked so I never took my last dose of clomid on day 9. The next day I was supposed to have a day 10 fsh drawn but the nurse did it that day which was day 9. It came back at 12. Do you think if I would have taken the last dose of clomid it would have affected my levels? Or do you think it would have been different if I would have gotten it drawn on cd 10? I would also like to know what a normal antral follicle for a 26 year old is. Thank you.

my SIL and her M/C Is this normal

Ok so my sil had a m/c on 6/21/08. She bleed for 3 days heavy then stoped for about a week then bleed for 3 weeks staight. Her levels at 1st ob visit was 52 and she is still having to check her levels to see if they reach 0. Why so long she was only a couple weeks ish into her pg.

She is going to start ttc again as of this week, but I am worried that her levels have not gone all the way down. Is this ok? I really want this next pg for her to go well. Any advice?
