Back from my transfer!

It went beautifly! We transfered two perfect embryos. One was an 8 cell one was a 10 cell! Both rated on a scale from 0-3 (0 being perfect) and they were a perfect 0. So we got incredibly lucky. We have one left that is a 10 cell and a 0.5 grade which is still very good. They are letting him culture to day 5 to see what happens. I am sooo excited!

Day 3 Transfer for me...

Well, I got the call. I'm having a day 3 ivf transfer on Sunday. They retrieved 19 eggs, of which they attempted fertilization on 15 of those. Only 3 were fertilized. They are putting 2 back in.

The woman who called..not sure if nurse or secretary, didn't know any more info..but I'm assuming only 3 took b/c of what I said in the post yesterday..they found my follicle size to be matue, but eggs weren't. So I am hoping on Sunday, they can give me an indication as to if this has been the issue with ttc #2.

All the stickyglue donations in the world will be gladly accepted!

Retrieval update

Just got home. I nauseated to no extent! LOL It went smoothly. They recovered 19 follicles...of those 15 can be fertilized...they are hoping for 7 embryos.

Apparently my u/s were showing the follicles to be big..but some of the eggs aren't quite mature. He said it just may be the reason we haven't conceived naturally again.

Should know tomorrow whether its a day 3 or 5 transfer!

Just wanted to say a big good luck (not that you need it) with your retrieval 2moro!!! Plus have a great night away with you DH 2nite :)

I hope everything goes smoothly and i just know that you will have lots of great eggs (not as many as Kan, but she is a egg making machine - lol!) but you will have some to freeze and they will put a perfect embryo in!!

Yeah...... its YOUR turn now!!! Can you believe it?????

Just found out I trigger tonight..retrieval is Thursday am! YEAH! My estradoil was 2171 after 8 days of stims. The nurse said 6 mature eggs and 13 that are intermediate (12-17 range)..Dr. Q said over 14 should be mature..so I'm hoping lots of those catch up to 14 with the trigger.

Got my call..my estrodoil was 284 after 3 days of stims..and she said that was perfect and right on track. I drop to 150 follistim tonight from 225..and add 1 vial (75) repronex. Blood work again Saturday and most likely an u/s on Monday!

The beginning of my ivf journey...

So I had my uterine sounding today. All was great. They said it was really easy to get the cath back in there so they should have no issues with retrieval or transfer. I start injections on Saturday! So excited. I had 12 antrifollicles on right and 7 on left which they were very happy with. The nurse said the last 15 to come thru their office with ivf (I'm using a satelite doc, only 1 didn't get prego.

Wish me lots of sticky glue :) :) :)
