What do you think about my menstrual cycles?

So I was wondering if someone could make sense out of my menstrual cycle. I could you all of your input on it. I have come up w/the averages for my cycle4 through a program and was wondering if someone could shed some light to it. Below is my menstrual cycle chart with ovulation averages for the last 7 cycles/ months.

So I was wondering if someone could make sense out of my menstural cycle. I'm confused how I could be "-2" for the Luteal Phase minimum average! I know 1 month I had 3 days of break through bleeding that was no heavier than spotting & the program seems to count only FF (Full Flow) i.e. light to heavy bleeding as CD1 not spotting. Below is my mestrual cycle chart with ovulation averages for the last 7 cycles/ months.

Can you ovulate after skipping a period?

Hi, I am trying to find out if it is possible for me to ovulate after skipping a period. My last cycle was on Nov 5th, and my beta on Dec 9th was negative, but still no period. I recently moved and am waiting to get a new GYN.

A little history, I have PCOS, and one ovary removed during emergency surgery a year ago due to a mass. I did not have regular periods until the ovary was removed, and this is my first irregular cycle since then.

My periods vary each month from 32days to 53days. I've had ultrasounds and all they determined was that I have a cyst which is now 1cm in diameter. I did have a miscariage in July 2009. My periods have always been irregular though. I'm a healthy 32 year old lady. I keep fit and eat a healthy diet. I will be seeing my doctor next week and I want to have an idea of my options.

Hello,

I had normal periods from age 14-22. Around age 22 I started running and got into running marathons. As I increased my running my periods slowly went away. After quite a few months without one I went to my doctor and they said it was just due to running and made it sound like it was no big deal. Well over the course of the next 7 years I rarely got a period…maybe 2 or 3 times. In 2008 I was put on BC because my estrogen was low and I had developed osteoporosis. This past May my husband and I decided we wanted to TTC. Because I didn’t have a period my doctor had me taking 10 days worth of progesterone and then Clomid on Days 5-9. I took 50 mg the first cycle and had to use Progesterone again after 40 days. The next cycle I took another 50 mg of Clomid and never got a positive OPK but my period came on CD19. The next month they put me on 100 mg of Clomid, I think I got a positive OPK but my period came again on day 23. This last cycle I did another 100 mg of Clomid and my period came on CD14. What could be causing these extremely short cycles? How am I ever going to conceive if I can’t even get through a normal cycle? I don’t know what to do next.

My name is saraiah. I have been having the problem of irregular menstrul cycles since I was in 8th grade, and I am now 24 yrs. old. This year has been the worst one yet. I started in January and have not stopped yet. I have been to the hospital several times. I was diagnosed with endometriosis last year, and through going to the hospital, it was discovered that I have several cycsts on my ovaries. I bleed through the birthcontrol. My doctor now wants to start me on the depo shot. I have had it before, and it only stopped my period for 2-3 days at max then i start right back again. I am also anemic. I also have severe cramps. They are so bad sometimes that I can't walk, sit, or stand. I also sometimes pass blood clots that are about the size of a silver dollar. I just want to know what I can do about this problem and does it affect the chances of me being able to become pregnant?

I do not have regular periods which is making it difficult to conceive, we have been trying for over a year now. I went to the OBGYN and they tested everything and said everything is fine. Gave me progesterone for 10 days to start up periods...the next month, the same thing happened! My gut area/uterus is soo sore and I have PMS symptoms (sore breasts, irritability) and painful sex. Period is 20 days late as of today.

I am 25 years old and I have had irregular periods for about 5 years now. I have been birth control free for 3 years and no pregnancies. And I have been sexually active during the last 3 years. I was with my previous partner for 8 years and had unprotected sex for 4 years and no pregnacies. I am with my now partner and have had unprotected sex for a year and a half and no pregnancies so I know it's me. I have very irregular periods that sometimes are 3 months apart. I never know when I am going to get my period because I will get the symptoms and then *poof* nothing. Right now I am experiencing dull pain in my lower abdomen, extreme fatigue, my nipples hurt beyond belief (which started yesterday) and I almost fainted this morning at work. I took a pregnancy test last night and it was negative. My last period was June 6th. I went to the dr about 3 years ago and had an ultrasound done to see if i had any cysts or anything on my ovaries and nothing showed up. According to them they didn't see anything wrong with me. But yet, no regular periods. Then I was told to go on birth control pills which would regulate my periods. But I don't understand why I would go on BC if I'm already not ovulating? I don't know where to go from here. I am extremely frustrated that I always have to worry about this and spending money on pregnancies tests each month because I don't have my reminder every month. I am at my point in life where a baby would be an ultimate blessing on earth.

3 days late, lighter period than normal for 3 days, stopped and not light pink spotting/bleeding

Okay so my period was 3 days late this month. Then when it came I did bleed but it was as heavy as usual. I only used 2 tampons a day. my normal period I use a whole box of tampons. Then my period stopped for a day and now I have very light pink spotting/bleeding. Any one know if this is normal or not? Or what is going on? Thanks for all of you help. This has yet to happen to me. My normal period is 2-3 days very very heavy bleeding. Like I said I normally use a whole box of tampons. (Super ones) Thanks again

ttc with very irregular periods

Just wondering what are my chances of getting pregnant with a very irregular period it comes almost every three months and most times longer. I have been trying to concieve for a year been on birth control since i was 14 to regulate periods, but stopped taking them a year ago.. Juz looking for advice and reassurance before i pay alot of money at a doctor...Thanks in advance :)

Hello to all , im am fairly new at all of this I am a plus size chick that has found a great fertility Dr. to help get me pregnant. I have taken all required test and now i have finished provera and started my cycle and now waiting for Sat to start clomid,,woooo hoooo im so excited they also scheduled a sono on the 21st to see if the follices are big enough then ovedril injection. has any one used both . or just have advice thanks for reading me babble on , just so excited.

If you went from having regular to Irregular Periods, can your ovulation day remain the same?

I'm curious if anyone has the answer for this. If you use to have 28day cycles..very regular. And then after a miscarriage you have irregular cycles..could your ovulation schedule stay the same even if your periods now were irregular?

Another words, say your last period was 12/21/08 you ovulate between 12/31st and 01/10th. You still dont have your period on 01/18th. You ovulate again with out a period on 01/28th-02/7th.. You dont have your period again when 02/15th hits. Then on 02/24th it hits but your also ovulating between 02/25th-03/7th...is that at all possible/likely?

BFP or BFN??

I am currently on cd uhhhh 53, longest cycle Ive ever had, near about almost three weeks late for AF, I have tested on the day of af, BFN, im now 18 days late, I tested a few times each week, 1 after, 2 after, and last night, I tested and waited for the pink line to move across the window and it never did, so I was thinkin i might just be impatient, I waited a minute or two and got busy with something else, and forgot about it, well this morning I go to POAS, first thing, and the one from last night, the one on TOP, was this.(refer to top test pic)..Im not sure if thats a BFP, orrrr a faulty test, I mean even the line on the right isnt the same as the one I took from this morning, but then the one I took this morning, the one on the bottom, is lookin like a BFN...Im so confused. Is this test faulty, or is it possible a "chemical pregnancy" could of happened so fast, or could I possibly be Preggo...orrrr am I just nuts?? lol ( Im tryin to have a sense of humor in this stressfull time)....please help me out......

When will I ovulate if I have Irregular Periods?

I had my period last Feb 17-Feb 21. I had my scanning on Mar 2 (cd13), found 2 mature follicles at 20mm. I tried ovulation kit on cd16 got 2 lines (1dark and 1 pale), on cd17 got only 1 line. now i don't know when i'm to ovulate. by the way, i have irregular period.

I am trying to figure out if I might have been pregnant, could still be pregnant, and what I should do now. I am having a very strange period. It started about a week early with a very light flow for seven days. Today I woke up with severe cramping and a very heavy flow. My periods normally last about 5 days and have a moderate flow. I know that early miscarriage is normal, and many people have them without even noticing, but I want to know if this is something that I should be worried about? I took a pregnancy test and it was negative.

Part of my worry stems from being the daughter of a NICU nurse. I’ve heard so many stories of women delivering without having ever known that they were pregnant and say they still had their periods.

Irregular periods, ovulation, and Prometrium

All of my adult life I have had irregular periods. I was recently put on Prometrium to start my period, which I do when I take the medication. My husband and I want to have a baby .My OB did a full blood work up (tsh, fsh, lh etc...) everything came back good. But my question is will I ovulate while taking this med. I start taking it around the 9th of each month and take it for ten days. I do have a period a couple days after taking it but I dont know if I ovulate . And If I do when would I?
